So I have this chick i've been hanging out with recently, we get along great in person but she does this thing that drives me absolutely nuts... and quite honestly is a deal breaker for me.
We'll be talking (text/fb messenger) and she'll just drop off. Even after I've asked her something. Just complete radio silence, so I'm left hanging. I find this insanely rude and the second time she did it I brought it up that I have zero tolerance for that as i find it pretty disrespectful. You don't have to answer me right away, i understand people get busy.. but to just not respond at all is something I won't put up with.
I understand that may be a standard that is a bit weird to people, as if it shouldn't be a big deal.. but to me it is, and i stand by that.
I've brought up to this girl twice now that she should be more mindful of doing that because i find it disrespectful.
She has now done it a third time and i haven't said a word to her since. It's been 2 weeks now. If you're going to disobey what I've kindly asked you to be more mindful about, i see that as blatant disrespect.
So here is the thing.. when she reaches out next I don't know how to play this.. I know a lot of people preach that you should never let the girl know "why" you're upset with them... just distance yourself and give them no attention. This is the best way to maintain a proper frame.
It's just when she does reach out... how do i respond/act? I don't want to just flat out ignore her because i feel like that's kind of rude on my part. I also don't want to get into why I'm upset with her because she should be able to put 2 and 2 together after I've already warned her twice.
The only option i see available is to come off a bit cold... but even with that she will know she got to me. I've been trying to figure out the best way to approach this and was hoping someone with a bit more experience could help me out here.
