Personally I find sex scene in movies not necessary, a hint is more than enough especially in this politically correct hera.

serious I don't care about films and TV for over a decade, and IF I sit down to see one I can guess the plot and the ending in 20-30 min of film, they can't even put a plot twist I can't figure out, if not bad made

True that, mediocrity when it comes of plots and storytelling but full turbo on diversity.

I don't think it's a new trend at all. Movies have been depicting sex scenes since before I was born, arguably the only possible difference is that some may be more detailed and/or porn-like, but even then it'd be inaccurate to say that a whole ton of mainstream films are doing this.

Not necessarily talking about sex but cinism increased greatly as much as bad behaviours that were once the trademark of the villain.

Its not uncommon from few years to see women that use sex to get benefits and brag about it, basically thats what prostitutes do and Im not talking about the villain.
