I did, because it’s an example that I gave because you said that diets never last, i.e. they don’t last if you go back to your old ways. Same goes for that 400 lb squat—it won’t last if you go back to your old ways of not exercising. Doesn’t take a brain to figure this out...
You are wrong on that. See: muscle memory.

Muscle memory means that you can rebuild what you lost more easily than if you were starting from scratch. That does not mean that you keep your strength and muscle gains if you stop working out. No matter how you try to spin it, you’re just flat out wrong lol

All the strength wont be lost. On me its 15-20% lost from being untrained vs trained. That 15-20% returns quickly 4-8 wks.

I mean it really depends on the person and just how far you've gone. I've seen your stats (and holy crap dude, you're strong as ****). I find that if you train differently for a while, say some swimming for example, and focus on that more than squatting, you're squat will decrease more than say running. Or if you don't do anything at all, you can lose a lot of your gains relatively quickly.

Youll always be stronger than when you started. But you will lose some taking a long break Running would bring my squats down for sure. But it can be done in moderation.

Amazing. Every word you just said is incorrect. I suggest you learn a bit more about programming. Try building some functional strength. Squat 400 lbs before you give out your incorrect advice to the OP.

I know more than about 98% of men. If you can work out 5 days a week, you're either not moving real weight or you are on steroids. Which is it for you?
It could be short workouts. Besides if your protein intake is sufficient you will have minimal soreness.

What is the point of short workouts? Can you provide an example?
Instead of a 2 hrs workout i can break bit up to two 1 hrs workouts. One earlier in the morning and one int he evening. The way i work i "get it in" so if a exercise or body part got missed, I remember and i hit it the next work out or the next day.

I dont recommends working out every single day as being "good" advice anyway but if you do those extra days can be short lesser effort days just for the pump, or just to get the time in.

Working out every day for a while ( say a few months ) is a great way to build up momentum, as missing a workout can lead to two missed workouts, then 3, then a week then your out of it.

Interesting. Usually I don't workout before a date. I do better with my heart rate lower.

Regarding personal trainers is it best to hire a guy who knows his sh** or hire a hot chick? Would a hot girl personal trainer give you more motivation?

2 hours is way too long. No workout need be longer than an hour. Exercising “body parts” is a waste of time. We train movements.
Some crazy fvcks do 6 hours non-stop, but they're in their 20s and 30s. I do not want to work my way up to that cause I don't want to descend into madness. I'm currently doing 3 to 4.5 hours a week. Would like every other day, but will do consecutive days cause I get home late from work and only have time to eat, take a shower etc. The law of diminishing returns are setting in where I'm only dropping a half a pound or a pound a week, finally breaking 180 lbs at 6'2" this week. I'm gonna see if I can get down to 170. I was 197 back in August and I'm in my 40s.

Isnt 170 almost too skinny for you unless it's all muscle?

When you get more advanced you will realize the power is in your mind, and you can DRIVE 2hrs rather effectively. It doesn't exhaust every single one that does it. That being said, I think splitting it up often can be better, but sometimes you are just in a GROOVE which may not be there later on in the day.
