So I'm doing it all wrong. When you don't get a reply back from a chick start bombarding them? No wonder why for most guys reply rates are low, even for normal acting and not fat ugly guys. As I said, if you don't message someone while they're online or within a couple days of logging on then it's likely they will never see your message because it will be 10 pages back. It seems like a crapshoot and it's all about timing.

This is why I see it's important getting a number after you exchanging a few replies. You might not get the chance to ask. The last two chicks I asked for their number quicker before they lost interest from someone else.

Location matters too. Around here there are few decent women on the dating sites, hence they get bombarded.

If you message someone while they just logged off and they haven't logged on for like 3 weeks they're not going to see you're message dude. If your message is 400 messages down do you really think she will go through each one? Heck, I messaged one near me, interest, everything lined up. I messaged her right after she logged off. She hasn't not logged on for two weeks now. This is match where women get 100s of message. If she logs on two weeks from now I don't expect that message to even be read. I only message users who have been online within a couple days. Match for example if I don't see a orange or green dot I don't bother. It's a false sense of SMV though. And many of these women know this. I'm saying this as a female. So 150 guys msg a girl and out of that 150 guys 148 probably just want sex, and the other 2 are not her type.

I can see how some women may feel validated and get an ego boost having random dudes msg her on OLD, but unless any of them are interested in more than her willingness to put out, it's doesn't mean anything.
