Tampa Bay area currently enjoying women of many age groups, shapes, sizes, and careers. An ex porn actress (did not lay). Doctors and Nurses. Bartenders. Store clerks. Rich ex-trophy wifes. They are everywhere.
I have covered a very sprawling area. I've met women in Orlando and Sarasota and Spring Hill. And I've had one (lay) that drove to me, twice, from Orlando. So I'm a bit of a travelin' DJ.
I really have nothing bad to say about Florida women. Or women in general. They have been very very good to me.
I definitely notice that people everywhere do seem to have rude ****ty attitudes though and I just avoid or walk away.
Most people are OK once you get to know them but let's face it: mass shootings are happening everywhere and people just don't simply trust or respect one another. Westen society's end truly seems more imninent than ever. We have all become weary and cynical. That's part of it in my opinion. There's no safety or refuge anywhere and people feel stressed. I think thatvthe increase of technology connects us but it also de-personalizes the sacredness of human interaction. Dehumanizes, in my opinion.
Admittedly I can act a bit arrogant and aloof, especially at work, so I am not one to preach about attitude. I try to never go out of my way to be disrespectful but I've always got my game face on and you better have yours on, too, if we're working together.
But I am past confronting and fighting people. I live well and I stay busy at work and in the gym.
Most everything else seems insigificant and therefore just doesn't bother or concern me that much.
Tampa. Major metro. I have to look into Bradenton to find any decent ones on Match really. We have a few Sarasota on South but it's like 20 to 1 odds on the sites in this region. I signed up for Eharmony, free one that doesn't show the faces but most of the matches were all the way up near Bradenton on north. I even tried Christian Mingle and not a lot of active users until you get closer to Tampa.
I'm from St. Louis, MO a major metro area the size of Tampa and there are many more young women up there and they seem to be in better shape too. All sorts to chose from compared to this area of FL. Also, stl metro has a lot more universities as well that attracts college aged students. Just the whole demographics up there were better.
I went to Webster University in stl which is a liberal arts college and the student ration was 54 percent female. I was a couple years older than a lot of the students but still fairly young. I was too much of an introvert and focused on my studies as a business major. I missed out on a lot and could have got a lot of girls if I wanted to if I took the right elective classes that were mostly female.
What I don't like about FL is that it's more transient with people from all over so you have different cultures blending in and different cultural norms. Missouri as a whole is a very conservative state and is a bible belt southernish state. Outside of Stl and KC area it's a lot of southern Baptist and protestant and more religious. Here in FL at least the areas we are in it doesn't feel that way and everyone just acts different and is ruder I think. A lot of New Englanders in this area I'm in which are snobby. Up in Missouri they're nowhere near as snobby and in most places more of a southern type demeanor.
I just feel a bit out of place socially here in FL with the different cultures mixed in.
As for the mass shootings, I don't use that as an excuse. I'm just alert no matter where I go and I have a ccw permit. But down here I certainly don't feel quite as safe as up there.
Overall I hate being an arse to a person and treat everyone respectfully.
Overall, I think many in FL, especially who reside from New England which in this region of FL a lot do they tend to be big time snobs and rude. The people down here from Missouri, Indiana, IL, Kentucky, VA, MN, MI that I run into who move here or are snowbirds have a totally different type of attitude and a lot less rude from my experiences and generally very friendly.
