Master Don Juan
Saw a thread about a ugly people, said **** it I'm gonna tell you all how to get good-looking. That's no excuse. Unless you have an actual deformity, you have no excuse for blaming your genes. There are things you can do to become more attractive, and you can change your genetics too (epigenetics; you can change HOW your genes are expressed based on the environment and the stressors around you). I also stole some stuff from
1. Exercise
Exercise hard, particularly with a lot of conditioning. This is key. Straight weightlifting is great for building muscle, but if you already have a substantial amount of fat, what are you doing? Get rid of that ****. That's why conditioning is more important. It'll slim out your face a little bit too and make it slightly more angular and chiseled. Also, don't just reach your desired weight or desired look. You have to go MORE than what you think. Meaning, if you think you want to lose 40 lbs, then lose 50 or 55. You're gonna gain back some weight once you go back to normal no matter what, and chances are you lost some water weight too, which makes the skin look thinner and more shredded than it really is. So lose more weight than you think you need to. If you can't see your abs after doing a lot of situps and leg raises and whatnot, you aren't there yet.
After you're done losing weight (or if you really need to GAIN weight), start weightlifting. But lift HEAVY. As in, you don't want to do more than 5 reps for anything, unless you're working very specific muscles that are mostly just stabilizers, like the rear delts, lower traps, calves, etc. But other than that, heavy weights are better. Why? Because in order for you to be able to lift them, your going to strain your face and neck muscles (kinda like how when you take a really big **** while being constipated lol, yes THAT face haha). And when you strain your face and neck like that, naturally your face will get slightly more chiseled and your neck will get thicker. These are more MASCULINE physical features that people only notice subconsciously; i.e. chicks will like you/respect your more but they won't know why. Not just that, but lifting heavy weights produces more testosterone than doing many more reps on a lighter weight. This will further masculinize your face.
Even further, the vast majority of your exercises should be compound exercises. These ALSO produce more testosterone than isolation exercises, and they make your muscles look more proportional and less bulky. Compound movements should be your priority. If after a while you've noticed that you have some lagging parts, than you can do some isolation. But they shouldn't be the bulk of your session.
Even FURTHER, heavy weights are better because they make your muscles actually look stronger and more cut than if you went lighter weight with higher reps. Going lighter will give more hypertrophy, but makes the muscles look puffier and more bloated than lean and dry. It just makes the muscle look better. It also lasts longer too. Plus, you'll get an ego boost when you see some mass monster who isn't benching as much as you are
If you don't exercise regularly, you have absolutely no reason to complain about being unattractive.
2. Eat well
Not much to say here really, it's common sense; you will look better, feel better, and other people will pick up on that and want to be around you more. And I don't just mean that you'll build muscle more easily, I mean that your skin itself will look more lively. Either you eat healthy or you don’t eat at all. It’s better to go hungry than to eat junk food if you’re ugly and unattractive. There are times where you *can* eat a little bit unhealthy, but most people are fatter than they should be so it doesn't matter. Skinny dudes (and I don't mean a little skinny, I mean VERY skinny dudes), you can only eat a LITTLE bit of junk food only if there is nothing else to eat and you're starving.
3. Fasting
When you see yourself getting fatter, occasionally starve yourself. At the 16-hour mark of not eating, your body will raise your testosterone and HGH levels. It's important to not that these have a synergistic effect on each other, meaning that they enhance each other's effects more so than if they were alone. Your testosterone and HGH will also continue to increase until 24 hours where it peaks, and then declines until the next day, where (if you are still fasting) it will spike again around the same time. Most of the hormonal increase is done between the 18-24 hour mark. Even more interestingly, cortisol raises up too. Most people think cortisol = bad, but that's only if there is insulin present (which if you are fasting, there is not because there is no sugar). If cortisol raises without insulin, it enhances fat breakdown and increases energy expenditure.
Fasting will masculinize your body more than normal, speed up your metabolism a little bit (meaning you lose more fat than if you weren't, AND give you more energy than normal), and clean out and repair your cells and mitochondria (autophagy & mitophagy). There are some neuroregenerative effects as well for prolonged fasting/starvation (3+ days).
Just a couple things to note: Make sure that you starve yourself for a few days at a time. Your body will get rid of fat without leaving excess skin behind because gluconeogenesis will be in full effect, and your body does not like burning muscle. It will do everything it can to preserve it. This means that any protein your body breaks down will first be from (excess) skin and scar tissue. Yes, your body will eat up any scars it has. It’s better to do this on days that are not as weightlifting-oriented and are more conditioning-oriented. You could also do them during rest days, but preferably said rest day is not directly weightlifting day (if it's after a conditioning day though, it's fine). You’ll harden up your body, and your face will thin out too and get more chiseled. If you want to make it easier, try restricting water too. Wait till the end of the day to drink water. It'll make you think less about the hunger. Plus, some people believe that when you are dehydrated, your body will metabolize fat more in order to utilize the water that's inside of the fat cells.
Regardless, you're basically cleaning out your body. This is the TRUE way to detox. Not by making veggie shakes or anything like that. The Soviet Union conducted tons of studies on fasting for their healthcare system because it was so much cheaper than a doctor prescribing medicine. It's just that us here in the West kinda hate communists so we disregard anything and everything they published. Also because Big Pharma would lose billions lol. You can watch some documentaries about it if you are really interested.
4. Positive Affirmations
Tell yourself all the time “I AM strong, I AM tough, I AM powerful, I AM masculine! I’m big! I’m bad! I’m mean! I’m hard!” It doesn't even have to be this, it could be anything. Just make sure that it's positive and about yourself. Even if you don't believe it. Even if it is completely untrue. These are cheat codes for the universe. You will start to become the thing you say you are. It won't happen overnight either, it will take a long time (at least 6 months before even minor differences), and you'll need to constantly tell yourself this stuff like you're a schizophrenic. But **** will change eventually. And don't say/think negative things either, even if you feel it. This is honestly the most important factor out of everything I've talked about, I literally changed my life with this and it impacted things that it shouldn't have been able to. There were things that happened outside of myself that didn't have to do with me that somehow got affected. I'm not one to believe in some hocus pocus magic bull**** or whatever, but there was something about this that psychology couldn't explain.
5. Style
Care about the way you dress. Figure out your style, know what it is. And make sure that you actually wear clothes that fit YOU personally, that's the most important thing about this point. Wearing clothes that actually fit you are key, it doesn't even matter so much as to what the specific shirt or pants are. I can go out in sweat pants and a plain t-shirt and look good because they still fit my figure. Granted, I also have an okay musculature too so it shows that off, but that's why I stressed exercise so much.
