That girl in the third picture with the pink fuzzy hat is not very attractive.
It's tough to spot the older people in '67. They don't really stand out from the crowd of younger people. They're tall and thin and have clear complexions. Today, old people look like Jabba the hut. Giant guts sticking out, waddling instead of walking, a stack of chins, mottled skin. They barely look human these days.
You'll have that. But the funny thing is, my recollection is that older people looked older back then.
The other side of the coin of the obesity epidemic is that people are living longer, athletes are playing longer, people are more educated about nutrition, the fit people are more fit than ever, the number of people who smoke has decreased dramatically, there are more gyms and fitness centers in business, etc. "40 is the new 30", "50 is the new 40". The people who
want to take care of themselves now have more education and resources available to them than ever before.
