I'm on a business trip out of town for the weekend and stopped in to a lovely little cafe near a college campus during a work break. There were a few hot gals there so I decided to stick around instead of popping in and out for coffee. I ordered a drink and then went to refill the water bottle. I stopped however, because it was some dispenser I didn't know how to use. I tried to use it, but it didn't work. I took a step away to ask the barista, but decided to try again but girl 'cut' in front of me, then said 'excuse me, sorry.' I said no, it's cool I don't know how to use it.'

She said, 'you just have to stick your finger in.' She demonstrated, waving a finger near the sensor.

This piqued my interest to say the least. I was going to say something sexually provocative but didn't know if she meant what she meant. So I just repeated what she said, with a smirk; 'oh you just to stick your finger in there, ok.' I tried not to laugh. She wandered off to the far end of the cafe. Then another girl made an excuse to talk to me. She asked me if I was in line even though I was nowhere near the register. I said no, again, passing on an opportunity to flirt a bit. This girl was just as hot as the first!

I am really enjoying how flirtatious these college girls are. I don't know why I didn't follow up with either the first or second girl. I should've at least gotten a quick number or two. I was in the 'work mode' mentality a little bit. Should I have followed up with this sexual innuendo? I felt a bit self conscious with sexual flirtation in this setting. Also, I'm years out of college.

For example I work in sales and a MILF was buying tons of male products from me, without hesitation I said "Wow you're a funny looking dude". I wasn't even trying to be flirtatious and all of a sudden the flood gates opened. Laughter, hair twirling, eye contact etc

I can't stress the importance of just saying whatever comes to your mind. Society has taught us to keep things in and be polite all the time, never risk a moment of awkwardness or pain. It's pretty dumb and life is pretty short. Never hold back.

If you get a woman who springs the ":that's what she said" on YOU, she's pretty high sex drive. I know from experience...

"That's what she said"/"That's what he said" is a really good fallback. It's not too overt, it forces the recipient into being the one who can either interpret it sexually or not (plausible deniability on your part), and if things are clicking can really grease the conversation.

Full disclosure, this wasn't so much a pickup technique for me as a running meme between me and my ex-GF.

I was pretty much forced into throwing sexual innuendo back. It was too blatant not to. I forced myself not to laugh or engage.

I was in "work mode" and perhaps avoiding #metoo mode. I think she #metooed me first though technically. She could've come back with "I didn't mean that!" and I would've been caught pants down. I was trying to be careful.

Come to think of it, there was another woman recently, a real estate agent, who dropped some big time sexual innuendo.

We were chatting and I told her about a previous sales job I had worked at. She said it was "boring." I said why? She said "I thought you were going to say you sold women's lingerie..."

So she wasn't interested in talking about work at all. She just wanted to talk about sex. I hope I didn't lose her card...She's a good looking woman, mid to late 30's.

By getting close to her you’d be invading her space (scalating). Then if she understood and accepted your approach, she would have pushed it.

So, today at the store, paid with my card as usual. I chose the lane with the hottest girl of course. Girl gets mad:

"You pulled it out too soon!"

I was going to say something "sexual" back, but checked myself. I like this store and can't afford a ban. I swear, these girls are either trolling me or I'm trolling them, or both. That's what she said!

It is irrelevant if she intended it that way or not. She probably didn't and was probably trying to be genuinely helpful, but I can't know for sure without personally having observed your situation.

I would almost automatically respond with "I like to stick my finger in" then look like a fvcking madman who's on the verge of bursting into laughter in anticipation of her getting what I'm implying. Worst case she has a good laugh and nothing else happens, best case it's a spicy conversation starter.

I wouldn't even try to be subtle, I wouldn't be able to, it's just too good of an opportunity to pass up on. You fvcked up, next time don't give a fvck. Just do not ever look serious if you do this, either obviously show that you're about to laugh (like you did, but your line wasn't that sexual) or just laugh little. You must be clear that it's humor, else it creates way too much tension and you look like a creep.
