Studies can show whatever it is they want them to show. They also can base their conclusions on things that might not be so cut and dry but up for debate. Also of they are relying on questionnaires those are notoriously innacurate sources of information as if you asked a person to fill out a questionnaire 3 times in a week youd likely get 3 conpletely different sets of answers.
