Some time ago, I posted a thread in regards to a plate that things escalated but she had high end tastes and would never offer to pay for anything. I got a mixed variety of responses all from some of you saying you would always pay, that paying was no big deal, and others ranging from making her pay lol.

Anyways, I went out with a new plate who made considerably less money than the former, and who offered to even split the tab. Im sorry, I know we're all different, but I just cant fathom being with a woman who thinks that she should be taken care of all times without making any monetary investment into it.

She was hot and fun, but girls gotta offer to bust out that credit card every now and then. I'm letting that one loose.

Later homies, have fun and wrap that **** up.

Both sides of the argument are right, in my opinion.

If you think a woman should be willing to go out of her way to split the tab once in awhile due to your beliefs and standards, that's perfectly fine. You're allowed to prefer a woman like that.

If you think you should pick up the tab every time due to your beliefs and standards, that's perfectly fine too. You're allowed to prefer a woman who's content with never splitting the tab.

We're all entitled to our own preferences and what we expect out of a partner, and everyone will have their own beliefs of what constitutes "leading" and "being a man". If it works for you, it works for you... if it doesn't, it doesn't. There is no absolute rule.

A biatch should offer once an a while. Or, at the very least come to your place or you go to her place and she cooks a nice dinner for you. Then again, do women know how to cook anymore? A microwave is not cooking; nor is ordering take-out. I often wonder if some people got this memo.

I was with a woman for four years. We always split the bill.

I never pay for a woman's meal.
I might pay just over half the bill, maybe pay two thirds once in a while.

I will buy a woman a drink on first meetup.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Ok my first question is why would you accept her high tastes because she is hot? If you say because she was hot, I'm going to come through your device and reverse naked choke you. Here is the problem. You dictate. If she has high taste, you got to be ready for her to walk. I don't care how hot the girl is you control your frame not her. If she is having sex with you because you pay, all you have is a hooker.

Law 40: Despise the Free Lunch

What is offered for free is dangerous—it usually involves either a trick or a hidden obligation. What has worth is worth paying for. By paying your own way you stay clear of gratitude, guilt, and deceit. It is also often wise to pay the full price—there are no cutting corners with excellence. Be lavish with your money and keep it circulating, for generosity is a sign and a magnet for power.

Being open and flexible with money also teaches the value of strategic generosity, a variation on the old trick of "giving when you are about to take." By giving the appropriate gift, you put the recipient under obligation. Generosity softens people up—to be deceived. By gaining a reputation for liberality, you win people's admiration while distracting them from your power plays. By strategically spreading your wealth, you charm the others, creating pleasure and making valuable allies.

- Robert Greene, 48 Laws of Power

Read the above a few times and let it sink in. When I first took the red pill I was very much in the go Dutch camp and used to take pride in the fact women would often pay for me.

As I've gotten older, more knowledgeable and of course wealthier I am beginning to understand the immense power of selective generosity. My first time reading of the 48 laws of power earlier this month has cemented this belief even further as Rob Greene articulates the position so well.

My preference is to have it balanced, paying roughly the same over time. Nothing crazy like splitting everything, every time or keeping perfect track. I always pay the first time if the date went well, if she offers to do it or suggest splitting the bill I tell her she can pay the next time. The next time is the real test, if she expects me to pay again I'll pay my part and leave her with her part. If the date is bad I'll split the bill, at that point I don't give a fvck what she thinks about it anyways.

I hate leeches, including being one myself, so I'm in the middle on this one. Besides, just that thing by itself lets you figure out key character traits about a woman pretty quickly. Is she contributing or draining? Does she have a sense of fairness or is she selfish? Going for dates where things must be paid for is an easy way to test it, if done strategically.

If she is just a plate why are you feeling the need to spend money on her to begin with all the time? There should be far more "come over to my house" than paying for stuff from you.

This is on you for continuing to spend money on her.

Also a plate is someone you are actively banging. Do both these women fit the criteria?

Good in depth explanation there, goes quite a bit further than the old folksy saying There is no free lunch…

There is no need to apologize for cutting loose a woman you’re not feeling.
You're right but sometimes men get lost in the moment and question things. I feel this guy was doing that as accepting a highstakes woman. It can happen to all of us but one thing to remember women view men as utilities. This is at the plate spinning, FWD, relation****, and marriage levels. That's how they view us at. This is why women can replace men so easily without feeling any emotion after they have done it. This is the mindset men have to have regarding women. Tom Leykis used to say on his show women are urinals. You may decide to take a piss at a certain one or not but you don't fall for the urinal. That's the mindset you have to view as utilities and things become a lot simpler after.

In my opinion we all pay for sex. A prostitute will expect cash in exchange for sex; most other women will expect drinks, food, gifts.
I agree 100% wholeheartedly with that statement. Relationships and marriage are legal prostitution as I see it.

Gotta stop fudging the posts bro..."confident" you will bang someone does not equate to a plate.

Plates are women you are banging period. How can you expect to receive valid advice when you are not even being truthful and telling white lies in your posts?

you could apply that for you too, when you are paying you are just making yourself be free, and we know very well today people don't feel obliged to do anything for others, they will take what is given, and if you stop giving they kick you and find someone else, letting her invest on your dates make also her think she like you enough to even spend money on you.

consider this, if time is money and you pay all, you are giving yourself to her 2x more then she would(and lets get real here, chances are you will be making more money then her so it will far more then 3 times what she is worth), that will give her content, and make her think she have more value then she is.

Some people just don't know the usefulness of creating goodwill with people just by paying for drinks and food.

They rather be calculative and spin it as women needing to invest into them too not realising that it's actually counter productive in the long run.

There was previously a thread on this subject of which I gave examples.
