It's not about who's right or wrong, it's about the OP doing what he wants to do And following his own desires, not hers. If he doesn't wanna drive 2 hours then he doesn't have to, if he doesn't wanna take her out(I agree with you that he should) but he shouldn't feel obligated to. I also agree that it's his fault for dating someone so far away.
Overall, if he was banging her good and knew how to sweet talk her a little bit then he wouldn't even have to worry about her going anywhere lol. The OP should not take her out or change how he's doing things based on her reactions to him, he should do it because he wants to.
I was more so speaking on the fact that everybody was acting like he should suck up to her or "try to make it right" no, he should do whatever he wants to do.
OP, this is all you have to do. Give her a call and sweet talk her a little bit, "I was just calling to see how you been" type of conversation, give her a little attention then set up a meet, get your lazy ass in the car and go see her and take her out then bring her back to her house and give her the best sex she ever had then leave. At that point, you can continue to act the way you been acting lol because shes not going anywhere.
Do not let her or anyone else make you feel like "if you don't get it together you will lose her" that's a bad mentality to have, don't change your behavior out of fear of disappointing or losing her. Keep doing exactly what you been doing then every once in a awhile you make the effort to show her a great time, that's how you keep them hooked.
