"Do you like me?"

I have been exclusive with my girlfriend for about 4 months now. It's been going well and we do a lot of activities/trips together and with others.
Recently there has been a recurring theme of her telling me that she likes me "a lot" and then asking me if "I even like her". At first I thought it was just kind of a joke so I dealt with it playfully. A few days ago though she talked to me a bit more seriously and told me she really feels like she is doing everything to make me happy (which is true) and finds that she is unsure whether I feel the same way and that I don't seem to put as much effort.
I am not sure how to deal with this - how much reassurance can I really give verbally? I obviously don't want her to feel like I am detached as I think she is a great girl.

Probably so. He might be a bit too internalized with some reluctance in expressing his thoughts and feelings.
She may not be getting the message she wants to hear.
