Maybe I didn't express myself correctly: I meant this girl deserves a lesson. I think OP could turn the situation around and make her a FB if he knew how: go cold on her, that will drive her nuts and then play the validation game. But he probably can't so yeah

She’s 18 he’s 22 whatever they had ran it’s course for her and instead of being mature about it and just telling him the connection is gone she’s acting like the teenage girl she is, who can’t communicate like an adult and is doing what teenage girls do, which is play games and act selfish. At his age with his whole dating life ahead of him I would just move on.


And downgrading to a FB? In this case she is clearly done with him sexually so why the hell would she put out for him as a plate when she is currently not putting out for him as his gf?


I don’t imagine situations where LTR girlfriends play along with being downgraded to FB unless they have no self esteem or no options, or are just plain stupid.

FWIW... based on 30 plus years of dating.... ALWAY trust your gut. All the problems I have ever had with women in my life comes from failure to trust my gut instinct.

When women start to distance themselves from you just mirror her behavior and let it happen. If she likes you she'll come back around, and if she doesn't.... no problem, get off the ride and give the next dude his turn while you go find another ride. The worst thing you can do is to try and 'fix' this... all that is going to happen is she will make things harder and worst for you... or WORST she will hang around and punish you for not making her happy by turning into a fat nagging shrew.

It really depends on the individual. Think about it from the perspective of when you were 8 years old on the play-ground. If the kids got together and started playing a game, and some a-hole started making so many rules that the game wasn't fun anymore, you would just walk away and find other kids to play with. Some would stick around and keep playing because the 'new rules' didn't bother them... and this is fine. I know a few men that actually think all the emotional BS games make things interesting... I OTOH really have little patience for that, but that is me. All games have a framework, but at some point the framework gets in the way of fun... this is going to be different for everyone.
