I don’t know any 24 yr old women interested in marrying a 50 yr old man. Date perhaps, but long term investment no. Unless money is on the table, maybe it’s different in LA. Maybe that’s where guys who are old but have money and looks to should go, places where that’s more common. Makes sense for guys looking for young wives I guess.

If you have a massive social circle you will have quality access to younger women, that's basically the way to do it. You can cold approach them too of course but you will usually just be a curiosity for them at that stage. I don't think quality young women will date older guys OUTSIDE of their social circle.

No I haven’t lol. Not here anyway but there are good looking men that age here for sure, as there are good looking women that age. Toronto is a hub for finances, tech, and medicine so a lot of young bright people are making very good money here and appear to be pairing up with people their own age also making good money.
Real estate is very expensive here but it’s nothing to meet a couple in their late twenties with a downtown condo and at least one luxury car, both working high end jobs in finance, etc.

Older men are in and chicks are actively looking for them. Mid 20's has probably been average for me, in the last decade or so, with a few low 20's this year come August, after a break up. I had an early mid-life crisis in my late 20's, thinking the world was going to end at 30. My 30's were stellar. So much fvcking debauchery. A man can age well, so long as he doesn't grow complacent and takes care of himself. This chit should become easier, the older he gets, imo.

Men are attracted first to women's looks.

Women are attracted to men's status, with looks also being a form of status. So arbitrarily let's say a 50 yo man with high status within a specific context that a young girl was drawn to, he would be high value to her, while the reverse of a high status women wouldn't do much for a young man.

Hence, in metro cities, where high-status men are more prevalent, you see this dynamic quite often.

I live in LA. I don't see this (20s women with men twice their age) as a norm in a LTR or marriage situation. Sure you see it but not as a norm. However, in dating, partying and hanging out I see it a lot.

Hank it makes sense that you don't see many married couples with huge age gaps as compared to dating. Men with resources don't prefer to marry "down," meaning women with no resources, only looks, as the danger is much greater in family court. So dating is preferred. However, here, not getting married is the choice of the older man, not the younger woman.

Also the immaturity of younger women can only be dealt with for so long for an older guy, so short-term is the norm in these type of relations.

I’m not sure what the arguement is here, or why. All I said was that I don’t see many hot 20 something women with Middle aged men in my city, why I assume I don’t, and that I also see good looking men and women in their 40s.

I know it’s more common to see older men with young women than vice versa. That’s pretty universal no?

The statistics, which had a std deviation and advanced stats showed in these countries that a 15-20 years age gap was preferred and the average in their society. Close age relationship was not the average. This was some north African contries, some eastern Europe and some latin American countries, where this is an attractive coupling. But here in America, in our average the older will be used.

Those places are viable options then, for men who want to marry much younger women, esp the European places. Many European women are quite pretty I have noticed.
