What do you think about men who abide by the idea that "you can never understand women completely"?

They have their own logic, it's just not man logic .
No its not logic its based on how they feel at the time, which means they are emotionally based decisions.

Its not that women behave without logic, its that logic doesnt influence their behavior...emotions do, sometime even self harming themselves is standard procedure as long as it follows their main directive which is the herd mentality.

Tatoos are cool? fine she is gonna get a big butterfly on her lowerback even if that will make sure no decent man will ever marry her.

You see? no logic behind it as logic intended as reasoning with sense in order to complete a process in the most efficient way.

An emotional in the moment based logic. The same as when a man is following only his lust or looking for a "come up".

Agree, herd mentality in the purest form...no woman hit the gym alone usually unless they are post wall and they go all-in so they drop even their base programming.

If herd goes somewhere stupid they will follow, if the herd doesnt follow a winning pattern they wont anyway.

You really can not completely understand women because how they feel about things is a significant factor in their decision making process. In addition, how they feel emotion is very different than how we do. For example, when a man is in love... WHAT he 'feels' is completely different than how a women feels when she is in love. When we get angry... how that emotion manifests itself in men is very different than a chick. Fear is a big one... women feel fear much more than men do. When men are afraid, it is a rational response to what is happening around them... someone pulls a gun on you, you feel fear. A women will feel fear just walking to her car... something most men do without a second thought.

Our stimulus response is very different. When we feel negative emotions, it usually stays with us, and the adrenaline gets us ready for flight or fight. When a guy cuts us off on the road and we almost get in an accident... we feel fear immediately, then quickly transition to anger. A women, typically feels the fear a lot longer.... Our knee jerk response is to chase the guy who cut us off and flip him off: a women will instinctively want to get off the road until the fear subsides.

Women are very emotional, and they feel intensely, but they can also recover emotionally much faster than we can. They can feel humor, anger, fear, and love in the span of a hour. Most men will have one or two emotional states all day.

We can not really understand this, we just have to accept that it is true.

Loved this explanation. But doesn't in itself the fact you are able to describe all this mean you quite understand how it goes. I mean, of course you probably cannot feel fear the way they do, but that doesn't mean you don't understand them and what drives them.

You can understand women from a philosophical standpoint, but you can not understand them from a rational standpoint because rational understanding is experiential. Since our lives operate in a different emotional framework our observations will be distorted by that difference. We tend to apply rational meaning to what they are feeling... and assume their actions are some kind of rational meaning.

For example, we can not fully understand why many women consider flirting by a man that they do not find attractive as some-kind of serious harassment bordering on assault, so we rationally assume that they really don't feel this way... that it is some kind of attempt to control men. The truth is they REALLY believe this is some form of assault, this isn't them just pretending this... it really bothers them... they really find this offensive. Now we can philosophically explain this by understanding that women place their own value based on the quality of men they attract. If what they believe is a low quality man hitting on them, it is like insulting them and calling them low quality as well. But we really do not understand why they think/feel this way. Equally they can not understand why we don't see this... we know it happens but we are not biologically equipped to feel this way.

This is why they think there is such a thing as a patriarchy... our society is built on the rule of law that can be objectively proven with fact, this runs counter to emotional subjectivity. This is the only way we can establish rules that everyone can follow.... this is how civilization works.... But many women do not understand why we can not build a society on subjective interpretation. There is a reason why there has never been a civilization built on the feminine imperative to survive the mud hut stage of development.... it can't. You may as well say you can start a fire under water.

Rational and logic are in a males nature. Its in our nature to want to dissect and problem solve but, we don't understand women any better then we do consciousness. And yet, we try to take it apart.

Both men and women have logic and passion. Generally speaking, logic is in the ascendency with men, and passion with women. As with any virtue, the extremes are to be avoided.... complete logic or complete passion.... leading to different vices.

So if the poles of logic and passion were to be arranged along a spectrum, the mass of people would be represented by the bulk of the bell curve in the middle. The left of the bulk of the bell curve is typical men, the right of the bulk of the bell curve is typical women, each having the appropriate quality predominant. It is the grand synthesis of the 'super-ego' [to use Freud's terminology if not his meaning], without which all is left to be carved up between the ego and Id.

Arguably, the principles of masculinity and femininity transcend biology, which is why you will find masculine women, and feminine men. A masculine man will appreciate a feminine woman not simply because opposites attract but also because he recognizes something that he has an inkling of. And the converse is true. HUMAN NATURE is NOT irredeemably split into two distinct 'substances' but itself transcends gender. The denial of this leads to all the ideologies and the 'other'. And yet it is not utterly the same... it is the same but different. Notice, this transcends logic.

The arguments for stating that gender is socially constructed is an extreme.... and also falls into the falsehood [logical and masculine] that human nature is just the same [actually, they don't even believe there IS a transcendent human nature]. Feminists, and the like, have a masculine mind.... have allowed the masculine aspect of them to overwhelm the feminine aspect of them. A disordered mind where the minor note overwhelms the major one.

Our cultural poverty... and near collapse... is due to a philosophical and imaginative poverty that is incapable of understanding or creating culture.

Culture is that great unifying principle, that sense of solidarity that we are all in this together. Without it, things fall apart. It is the grand synthesis of the 'super-ego' [to use Freudian terminology if not his meaning], without which all is carved up between the ego and the Id.
