I was messing around on youtube the other night when I stumbled on this clip. It's from Red Dawn. Pay attention to the Quarterback in this clip. Take a look at his demeanor, his confidence, and his swagger. That's the mindset we need to strive for. Supreme inner confidence but also not too serious, splashed with some humor and playfulness.

It's a good motivation clip and i like the swagger. But i think it's more of how us guys like to see ourselves rather than what women want. There are certainly some women out there who may even think it's kinda dumb.

But i think the primary thing is, most of all you should be yourself before anything else and striving for success can be part of that. I wouldn't just try to copy something from a movie or a clip that i saw and become exactly that, I was down that road before and you come off looking fake while you also try too hard. Better be relaxed and enjoying yourself. That's what we strive for afterall

I don't think wearing helmets and pads is puzzy, I think it's smart. I mean shoot if a player gets paralyzed he won't be able to rail his GF and some other guy who wore a helmet and pads will. He also won't be able to advance his career to college or pro whatever the next level us, but some other guy who wore protection will.

Yeah what kind of moron wouldn't wear pads you can tell that someone who never played the game on the field would say this hell even when I played high school football some of the defensive linemen I went up against were 6 foot 4 and over 300 pounds and they were kids !

@logicallefty I was comparing it to rugby...

@Red Legg or maybe the moron played rugby. Hint: no helmets or pads in rugby. You can tell you never played rugby. Surely you can comprehend the post that talks about perspective and comparing the two sports. Must of got home schooling in slack jaw yokel country.

Rugby is boring though that is why it was never was popular in the USA (and never will be)....American football is much more violent and fun to play.

NFL is very stop and start but I can’t deny it grew on me when I lived in Miami and it was on tv all the time.

Baseball is trash. Basketball is meh.

Americans really do make some **** sports.

Rugby players are definition of Alpha Male.

There wasn't a single terrorist event that could have been "worse" where a rugby player didn't participate in saving the day. Even on 9/11, London Attack, France train, Iran Embassy attack etc

It's they are all mega fit and they handle adrenaline really well due to competitive sport without protection.

Actually, did you know the adding of "Armor" (padding, helmet, boxing glove, UFC gloves) just made the game more "dangerous" for the athletes.

Every sport where "gear" was added injuries skyrocket.

The average NFL football last 3 years.

The mindset you need is : confidence, Action, moment taking.

It comes more easily to Sport athlete because they constantly live in that frame and knowing that their environment might collapse anytime
