I don’t post on the forum as much as I once did as I find the quality of content on here has decreased massively over the years stalwart posters have faded away and we have been left with many frustrated and inexperienced don jauns ( also a few women )

Let me lay the current male female dating landscape out for you ……we are in a generation where women have never had so much “say” in dating dynamics or realtionships end of story

This is mainly because of reality TV , social media and porn allowing women to remove the shackles of modesty and guilt

No to mention We as a society have also bred a culture of entitlement in women , many belive a vagina is enough on its own to allow a partner with good looks , wealth and strength

This has left modern men confused and divided …….with many supplicating and become the “b1tch” of the relationship , they get a house in the suburbs, go out earn some cash she looks after the kids and makes dinner…… sex Is once a month on a nominated day if you are lucky life looks stereotypically perfect on the outside …..but on the inside these men are dead and probably depressed

any defectors to this lifestyle are sort of perpetuating though a constant cycle of peter pan Bachelorhood or perhaps even a ( don jaun lifesyle ) this is fine but then you cannot complain when the women you are attracting don’t follow old fashioned procedure of staying at home to make your dinner and clean your clothes

you are living a different lifestyle to the “blueprint of life ” , you cannot expect the woman you bring into your frame to follow said blueprint this is why it baffles me why so many on this forum are disgusted by the idea of a woman playing the field whilst she is dating you ?

as the saying goes if you live by the sword , you die by the sword you cannot have your cake and eat it …….exclusivity has no place in the don Juan lifestyle for either sex both you and the female are always free to go and do your own thing if your ego cannot accept this then im sorry but the don jaun lifestyle is not for you

go and find yourself a virgin mary that will sit at home and clean your clothes , make dinner and offer you missionary once a month

you have to decide what do YOU want ?

People like you just floor me. There are how many million websites on the Internet you can go to? Yet you feel compelled to come back and hang with us 'losers'. Like you think we are in distress and need you to come white knight and save the day. Nothing on this forum irks me more than people like you who bash the forum itself, yet can't stay away.

I've seen many of my playboy friends running down that lane to have ended up lonely.

Yes they have money, looks, plenty of pulling power with women but no staying power.

If that's the path you wish for then I wish you best of luck !

I suppose I am one of those dudes living the peter pan bachelorhood life. I'm 39 never married and no kids, own my own home and car, great job, social, good looking, etc. I'll settle down if I meet the right woman, but not desperate to because I have options. Most women out there are as you describe, entitled and narcissistic with massively overinflated egos. I don't try to change them or settle for one because I know the consequences are divorce and alimony. So i'm forced to spin plates and short term dating flings. Women come and go, usually resulting from their poor behavior and me not caring or showing any emotional investment. I enjoy the company of women, but take them for what they're worth (aka sex). Lonely at times because as humans we do want companionship and to develop long term bonds, but this is just the way it is and i've accepted it. I'm not here to complain, but to offer guidance, advice, and insight to other men frustrated by any experience they may be having.

the fact you are so irritated by my comment would suggest you are perhaps more than aware of the decline in quality of the forum

We will have to agree to disagree.

i wasn't intending the op to give an ultimatum as to whether you should be a playboy or not

its merely an example of 2 completely different paths in life

the point i was making is that they cannot be crossed

The very purpose of the forum is to discuss interpersonal issues. The way that that transpires will, unsurprisingly, result in fall out of emotionality and at times, blind cluelessness. The nature of the forum is a fair reflection of men in society; the vast majority are emotionally charged, clueless, in denial, or often variant combinations of all three. The remaining few tend to know what they're doing and talking about, albeit to varying degrees.

On reflection, there are generally three types of guys here (other than the odd troll); we have the clueless, who are here for help, we have the emotional, who are here to dump their proverbial purses out in a safe place, and we have people who are here to help. Those three different guys are simply at different stages of the same process.

With due respect to an old comrade, those that are here complaining about the nature of women and or society, still have some things to work on and a certain amount of acceptance to get through.

I can only ever so for myself. What I have learned is that the most profound inhibitor of success, in any respect, is emotional response, in particular for men. Control the emotion; control your life. I'm not sure it's really much more complicated than that.
