I find the whole thing very similar to job hunting. I remember reading somewhere that the average time to find a job in good times was 3 months and in bad times 4 months. How do you talk to your family? Your friends? Extend that skill to women. This is natural social interaction, you don't have to say a "certain thing" or a code-word to get a woman interested.
