I'm on a forced sobriety for 14 days after my procedure. I'm wondering if I should try to continue it. Common sense says I should. Here's a story from a few weeks ago...

I was at bar and started drinking, then I Ubered to another bar, then another, then another, then another, then a strip club. Some of these bars were 30 miles away in opposite ends of town, and some of them I only know I was there because of checking my Uber log the next day. I must have Ubered 100 miles that day.

Unfortunately, alcohol can sometimes help my social skills. And sometimes I feel like my emotions get caught up until I introduce some substance that unlocks them. I could be angry for weeks and not know it until I have a few drinks, then I realize I've been angry for quite some time.

Aside from the negative effects alcohol has on your body, it also would cause me to be less motivated for my business. And I doubt any decent girl wants to date a drunk. But usually once I drink one, I will end up drinking 6-10 at least.

I believe they call it a social lubricant. Though like motor oil, it tends to make mess of things if used too much. :\

What I tried last night was drinking bourbon in a glass. That helped slow down how much I drank through out the night.

As for emotion, it does seem to bring out our "true" selves supposedly. Though I wouldn't take it personally if it comes out as it can be misguided energy, which is beneficial in other things like being an entrepreneur or making dupe music.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Some of what's released was controlled for a good reasons. So some subconscious thoughts you wouldn't have acted on came come out. Since the inhibitions are reduced. Self control is a good thing, no?
