when i worked in construction, i knew plenty of old timers who had already reached their 30 year retirement with the union but could not retire because it was going to an ex wife, meaning they had to keep working until they die

what really disturbed me most about this video is the demeanor of the judge, completely devoid of any emotion whatsoever..........also whats worse is that in the description of the youtube video, it points out that the man is defending himself because he cant afford an attorney while his wife has 3 different attorneys on her side, none of which she is paying for

I only did see it happen when the dude is smart enough to document all her crazyness, and she is slutting up he can also bring that up.

Check out the movie, "Divorce Corp." on Netflix. Family courts are an extremely corrupt system unto themselves. A lot more complicated than "women banning together to change the laws."

No jury's, no appeals, pure tyranny.

Divorce lawyers and judges are about as evil as they come.

The whole family court system is corrupt beyond just raping men. All the judges are reelected because all the divorce attorneys contribute to their campaigns. So the judge favors whoever gave him the most money during any proceedings. The guys who have to visit families to make a "assessment" of the family life play both sides (father vs. mother) and give a report favorable to whoever pays him the most.

The "system" rapes the shyte out of people getting divorced. They really don't care who goes to jail. They really don't favor women over men.

It's really more of "both attorneys and the judge" vs. "the couple getting divorced" with the goal of squeezing the most money out of the divorce as possible. Part of the strategy of some of the attorneys is to prolong the divorce as long as possible so long as they other guy (or girl sometimes) still has assets they can squeeze. Winner doesn't pay, loser pays. So if you have assets in your name, both attorneys and the judge will conspire to make you cough them up however they want.

In documentary, one guy made some vague statements about his divorce judge on facebook and the divorce judge sentenced him to prison.

What happened to this guy is a shame, but sorry. It's his own fvcking fault. You have to pay child support... PERIOD. If you don't have the money, too fvcking bad... go get another job and make up the difference. If you still are not making enough money, then file a motion in court for a reduction, then start paying WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD.

This idiot thought he could walk into a court of equity (not a court of law) without a lawyer, and convince the judge that the division of assets was child support? Again. I am not saying any of this is right, but what in the hell did he expect?

As long as you file the motion, and make SOME effort to pay something reasonable, based on what you are earning now, you will NOT get locked up. But you have to pay SOMETHING... if you are collecting un-employment, then 20% has to go to child support, minimum. Sorry it's this way, but you have to find some kind of work... even if it's working in a McDonald's... you have to show you are making an effort.
