Coffee is better for you, full of antioxidants. California is about to put a 'may cause cancer' warning on coffee which is totally bogus, and probably a result of lobbying from the big corporations who sell energy drinks, which are much, much more likely to cause cancer than coffee. Energy drinks have even killed a few people from overdoses.

Nope.

I drink coffee year round, at least 2 cups a day. I also drink those Bolthouse Farms fruit drinks during the winter, when American fruit isn't readily available, mainly for the nutrients. I usually drink those for breakfast, along with either a couple boiled eggs or a peanut butter smoothie.

I have been known to drink a 5 Hour Energy shot back during in the days where I would drink all day, then still need to be awake to do something that night.

I think the small red bull can has 80mg of caffeine which is equivalent to a cup of coffee. However espressos are even stronger.. over 100mg I believe. The strongest can you can buy is the espresso double shot..

Coffee is more acidic than energy drinks and really makes me take a shvit... I do drink both though.. Energy drinks do have vitamin B which coffee doesn't and might be easier on the stomach.

I know a guy who had an heart attack after he drank his red bull.

Energy drinks can be dangerous for you

Coffee is much better and more natural... and actually it's full of iron... Coffee is a prevention treatment to Breast Cancer lol.

If you going for energy drink... avoid "taurine" components (they low key steroid)

I've read about taurine. Seemed harmless. I'd be more concerned about the food coloring.

IDK

I personally avoid taking energy drinks until I'm into a strict routine of workout or playing games (football). Last year I had plans of building up my body so started taking workouts real seriously. Would drink lots of Gatorade, and some other electrolytes as well. It actually helps in a very limited way and one can honestly do without them. There's no such harm in consuming them if you are exerting a lot, but you can avoid them and still do all sorts of physically exhaustive activities.

I don't drink energy drinks. Before, I couldn't wake up without a cup of strong coffee and Red Bull instead of breakfast. But then I started having problems with sleep (not because of the red bull), I started taking special pills nootropicboost.com for lack of sleep (sleeping pills don't help to get enough sleep). I became more alert in the mornings and refrained from the energy drink and coffee.

I'm sensitive to caffeine, which is why I think I like it. I don't understand people who can drink coffee and then go to bed. A six-pack of diet soda is enough to keep me up all night.

The one thing that I know for certain to be less healthy than energy drinks is falling asleep while driving. I consumed a lot of them driving back and forth to college in Florida, under that rationale.

Energy drinks have to much sugar and caffeine for me. So, I drink Mountain Dew Kickstart. I kind of think of them as inbetween a soda and a energy drink. I like the skinny cans that have coconut water in them. Raspberry Citrus is my go to.
Really? I would think Soda especially Mountain Dew would have a lot more sugar. If you get the small red bull can the caffeine amount is equivalent to a cup of coffee, but yeah not sure about the big monster or rockstar cans..

I think Taurine has a lot of misconceptions... Here is a pretty good article on it:

https://draxe.com/what-is-taurine/

It looks like it's an amino acid which is a precursor to protein where steroid is a hormone..
