Women don't like getting set up?

While men don't seem to mind; as long as the woman is reasonably attractive; women in my experience, don't like getting set up. It is a bruise to their ego, a rebellion against their mother (who proposed the idea) or they are just plain ol embarrassed by it.

I have been set up multiple times and it never seems to work and I am a good catch (so it is not me)

Yeah probably that. I m an average looking guy. Direct setups like double dates r horrible for me. More casual setups inviting us along to a big group socials has worked fine.

Right, no one will usually deny an oportunity if that’s what they’re looking for. If the attraction is there, it’s all good. If it’s not there for both, then it’s time for both to move on with their individual lives…

Dude.... I think you're looking at it all wrong. As long as you get the final word who better to look out for your interests than friends and family. Interestingly that's how it used to be done in most societies. As long as they don't all look like Quasimoto I'd seriously start checking that pool/option out.

Women and their ****ing egos when on top form SMV. Just start kicking dumpty off her pedestal. One word answers. Being distant, remote, aloof, nonchalant, and also approaching other women seems to suffice in 1) trolling her 2) letting her know who the man is!

I've had virtually nothing with a setup only to approach other girls and her ***** get wet. Women are more competitive then you would imagine. Far more then men give credit.

I think the main problem with getting set up isn't so much that women hate it, it's that it makes the male look weak.
If he's getting set up it kind of implies that he can't attract a female on his own.
It implies he lacks the boldness, social ease, and strength to go get his own women.
And girls don't like that.

Lol, horribly. But with arranged marriages I have to get married right away. If I get married I want to live with her for two years first. I’d rather be single than end up divorced or in a bad relationship
