It's not genetic. To think that some humans are genetically flawed because they can't handle a toxic substance is fully submitting to the rehab/disease mentality.

There's a reason why they want you to believe in this theory.....MONEY. There's a whole fvcking industry built on the disease/genetic model THEORY.

Fvck that. Anyone can combat addiction 1. When they understand how the addiction cycle works 2. If they really WANT TO

by the way, how did you get addicted, in your opinion?

You think your absent father and your conflict with your mother had anything to do with it?
I have to disagree on the genetic thing. The whole rehab industry, as with anything else, is fueled by profit motive of course.
I got addicted because before I joined sosuave I had health problems and was out of school, isolated from friends in middle school (social development years). I was a bit in my head and socially awkward but not as bad as I thought. I tried a bunch of pills my family had, and unfortunately tried hydrocodone. After that first pill I had a love affair with opiates. Then after the whole female crying wolf scandal and getting kicked out of university, effectively making me feel like I had no future, got involved in dealing for easy big bucks and got on the xanz, got addicted to the money, respect, drugs, women, all of it.

do enlighten us on sex addiction
It's just like a drug. As I just said, when I was in the game, I had women who would come to me for drugs and liked the whole bad boy / tough guy vibe I gave. Theyd come for drugs and d!ck. I was happy to make money and fvck.
You get into the cycle that sex is pleasurable mentally and physically. You get those endorphins and it's easy to fvck to rid yourself of emotion. Or get into your emotion, to each their own. I was the former.

Sure, but I'm definitely one with a fast metabolism and I was shriveled after being released from the hospital. Muscle memory is a real thing too, let's not forget. But yes I was severely depleted of nutrients and vitamins. So once I got my nutrition back and my muscles got torn up and built back again they remembered where I used to be. But I made some crazy gains after adding heavy deadlifts into my routine. Got more striated even if I gained a little fat, and put on a lot more lower body mass (I always do heavy squats but DL's added a whole other dimension to my physique).

Good for you man!

Like you, I've got 'an addictive personality'. I've been addicted to gambling & have had issues with alcohol.

Everyone's recovery is different, the one thing I found good was taking things one day at a time.

I know my issues probably stem from my childhood & that's certainly something for you to look at also.

sorry to tel you, but "sex addiction" is a myth
Sorry to tell you, it's not.

When it becomes compulsive behaviour or/and sneaky behaviour, when you do ****e that you regret, swear not to do it again.....but you do.....you start entering into addiction.

Sex addiction can manifest in porn or escorts for example....it starts effecting your everyday life....you wish to stop....you can't.......hello compulsive addictive behaviour

sex addiction is a myth. its been debunked plenty of times already

you cant simply assign a clinical condition to something because you think it resembles other types of addiction.

its not even recognized in the medical world and by definition doesnt constitute what researchers understand to be addiction

addiction cause very real physiological changes in the body. sex and porn "addiction" do not. the most clear example being withdrawal symptoms. the same changes that occur in the brain and body have not been present in so called sex addicts.

its a myth pushed by pseudo professionals and feminized society to shame men
So I guess gambling is not an addiction either no?

Both produce dopamine, adrenaline and stress/excitement.

Both can lose you a fortune in cash.

If you think it's something "created by feminism" our conversation can end here.

You cannot site a lack of physical withdrawal as your source for addiction.
I've known men and women who all they do is watch porn / have sex / masterbate. They spend all their time and money on it. Tell me that's not addiction.

Now I agree most "sex addicts" arent real sex addicts but there are the true addicts. You discounting that shows you don't know what you're talking about and have never experienced addiction period. You're lucky

Because sex is a biological urge, sex addiction works the same way as food addiction goes. Most people don’t need as much of it as they think, and because you don’t technically *need* sex for survival, we don’t actually need much of it at all really. It’s just that it will begin to affect how we behave if we remain abstinent for prolonged periods of time (especially men). Overall, it does exist. Otherwise fat people wouldn't exist either lol
