Yes, think of the modern mind as institutionalized. Now money is a part of that institution. It is therefore irrelevant about the factual fundamentals of something that the mass starts to perceive something as money.... animal spirits and all that...ergo buy some Bitcoin.

I still don't get the purpose of it. Other than to hide a paper trail.

I have no problem using my regular money with a debit card.

But I have made over $4,700 investing in it, but I don't see the actual purpose or what need it fills in the world.

I think what we are seeing here, if this chart is anything to go by, is a parabolic move up. Notice how in the past the price has doubled then corrected a few times... and that the intervals between are decreasing....

This suggest a move to 14,000 before a correction:
