Can a 27 year old guy fall in "love" (as he says LOL) with a 50+ year old woman or is it just plain and simple mother issues? (Guy hardly talks to his mom, has a bad relationship with her cause he is stupid and bitter and immature)

He talks to her for hours on the phone, puts her to sleep :O and all this **** that you normally do with your girlfriend, a normal chick in her twenties

A potential motherfvcker or tittybaby candidate there…
It’s usually an insecurity, not love.

If she’s an ugly 50 year old then it’s mommy issues. If it’s like a hot milf/cougar type gig, then no, he just likes older women.

Nah, she's OK looking, but it's probably the mother issues. I know this guy inside out since I live with him since more than 3 years now and he only goes for older women who are 5s or 6s at best. Anyways, cause I don't like to measure the hotness from my perspective, but I still think they are just average or above average looking.

AND, add to this, he doesn't treat them like the hot cougar or mommy whom he's ****ing, he treats them like a little girl and likes to be caressed by them LOL he should go get that from his mom

I know a guy (29 now) who's been in a relationship with a 50 year old for like 5 years now. Live together. But I would say their relationship is not ideal, at least from what I saw. Lots of little arguments and I think insecurities and such.

I think it's not particularly good to have that large of an age gap in general for a LTR. If only I'm thinking, if he wants to have kids. Other potential issues too. You can definitely enjoy each other's company on multiple levels. But yeah.

Not sure what to think on your friend's approach to this - but because of the abnormal treatment (as a little girl vs an adult relationship), probably some issues underlying, unfortunately.
