That was very cool. I love how the tables turned when the guys were more impressed with Niki than the hot girl.

Also, it was interesting that he caved and sped up the car at the end, but did it in a way that scared the girl. He gave her what she asked for but not in the way she asked for it.

He was also bold/decisive and outcome independent (e.g. when ignoring her singing and turning off the radio in the beginning) and then also when speeding in the other guy's car he was driving; he gave no fvcks; he asked no permission.

Cool scene, but too many coincidences (he gets a lift from a random hot girl, car breaks down, the locals recognize him, ask him to drive their car, etc.) It only works like that in the movies. In real life, perfect opportunities rarely present themsleves in this fashion.

It’s only significance is in the behavioral lessons to be learned and internalized as explained above.

This is true but thats because people think the way you do and believe it to be so when infact these crazy opportunities are happening all the time if you put yourself out there and step into the flow of life and manifest what you truly want. we are created in Gods image and are basically the kings and queens of this Earth and we have God given talents and powers that most people dont realize they even have.

The CRAZIEST "coincidences" have happened to me at the most unexpected times...nowadays i just "expect" things to work out and cool and interesting things to happen and guess what, they do! Its almost like a chain reaction and events just happen in succession one thing leading to another and you would be very very surprised at the things that at onne time were thought impossible are now possible.

The point I'm making is that it's easy to make the right moves when all the pieces magically fall into place and you don't have to work for it. We've all been in situations like that but they are rare and you'd be foolish to wait for those "perfect moments".

Consider what would have likely transpired in real life: he gets a ride from some dude, rather than a hot girl (since when do hot girls give rides to total strangers anyway?), they have a boring conversation about football and other random sh!t, then the car breaks down and they call a tow truck. Wouldn't make for a very exciting movie though.

I haven't seen this movie in years, but from what i recall, he was dragged to some party he didn't even realize he was going to ... when he gets there, he's ditched by the driver ... he runs into the girl who is leaving early/upset and asks her for a ride to the nearest train station .. she obliges.

Agree. There are lessons you can take from this, but the only way things work out the way they do in this movie is if you are a celebrity. As in this case, he's a famous Formula 1 driver.

the fact that hes has socialproof/status and that its a movie is besides the point
Maybe, but those guys never would have even picked them up if they hadn't recognized him. And he certainly wouldn't be driving their car. Most likely if he wasn't famous he would have been stuck in the back seat. The fact that those guys are so impressed by him is the exact point which turns on all her attraction switches. That's where everything turns in his favor.

Besides which, if he hadn't been a Formula 1 driver, he never would have snapped the radio off to listen to her car, and never would have noticed the problems with her car. Almost nothing that happens in the scene happens if he wasn't who he was.

Again, you are looking at things way too specifically. It's his mannerisms/behavior that can be learned from .. not the actual specifics/context of the circumstances. Way before she found out he was a formula 1 driver, he was already demonstrating with his behavior that he was high status. ANYBODY can mirror this behavior regardless of their profession. He was confident, bold/decisive, he was c0cky/funny, etc. He didn't supplicate, he didn't pedestalize, he didn't explicate, he demonstrated high value by taking charge, being amused and aloof, etc. etc.

Everything else (all the lucky/movie stuff that fell into place) was just icing on the cake.

I said back in my first reply that there are lessons you can take from this. But even if you follow all those tips, which most of us should be well familiar with anyway, you're not going to get results like the guy in the movie. The fact that he is a celebrity drives everything in that clip - he appears mysterious and the girl starts to become interested in him because of the way those guys revere him, not because he acts c0cky/funny or whatever. He makes some right moves, but he really doesn't have to do anything, his fans totally set the table for him. You can just see her light up and start to wonder "Wait a minute, I just thought he was a d!ck, who IS this guy?".
