I'm wondering if we can merge some of these rasslin (WWE) threads lol? I wanted to bump this as AJ Stylez won the WWE Title back tonight. Thanks goodness. That fvcking Jinder Mahal bullshyt was so annoying. How the hell does this guy go from literally being a JOBBER, straight jobber, to straight to being WWE Champion and beating Cena, Orton, and Shinsuke?

AJ Stylez should have been WWE Champion going into Wrestlemania 33 earlier this year, he should have never lost it at Royal Rumble. I'm hoping they allow him to carry it into Wrestlemania 34 and successfully defend it at Wrestlemania 34. Give this guy a CM Punk like title reign of over a year.

Oops, that's what I get for reading this before watching Smackdown lol. Doesn't matter, spoilers have never bothered me much. I didn't mind Jinder Mahal as much as some people, but obviously Styles is the most deserving guy on that roster to be champ. I guess that means Styles will be fighting Lesner at Survivor Series also, which is a much more intriguing match than Lesner/Mahal.

Yes, Jinder has improved and could have been a solid mid-card act. He could have even won the US Title and remained it the Indian Title for more "heat" or something. But the WWE Title picture on Smackdown should have been centering around AJ the entire year in my opinion.

But I don't think Vince is done with Jinder, he might give the title back to him shortly.

The Attitude Era was definitely the most entertaining wrestling ever was. But people bring their families to see wrestling, and the network doesn't like the more extreme stuff, so they're under pressure to keep it PG now. A lot of people say it can never go back to that, but I don't agree.

Anybody watch NJPW? I feel like that's where wrestling is at right now. Good mix of Japanese wrestlers with some American and British stars. Ol' JR and Josh Barnett on commentary. It's on AXS TV and I have enjoyed it when I catch it...which is usually really early or really late.

A lot of guys here swear that if you hit the gym and get bigger, women will be beating a path to your door, because women like muscles. And there's no denying being physically fit has many benefits. But I think of Jinder Mahal as an example of how a guy can get ridiculously bulked up, but he still lacks charisma and is still (to my eyes at least) a rather ugly looking man. That's just my opinion though, maybe he gets plenty of smoking hot women, although if he does is probably because of what fame he has rather than hitting the gym (or juice).

I took a chick to see "rasslin" over here in Detroit back in December. I bought my BIG GOLD BELT to the arena and I got so much attention, complements, etc. lol.
