These are four things that I have decided to do every single day for the rest of my life.

1] Meditate

I have begun to do this activity multiple times per day. I sit down in my room (or wherever I find myself), put on some zen meditation music, and close my eyes.

I think about all of my fears. My fear of abandonment. My fear of death. My fear of failure. My fear of the judgment of others. My fear of betrayal. My fear of a lack of control. My fear of emotional pain. My fear of inadequacy. My fear of rejection.

I think about how these fears are impacting my life in a negative way and are leading to limiting beliefs, and ultimately limiting actions.

I imagine the type of person I would become in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, and ultimately my life, if I allow these fears to take hold of who I am and dictate my actions and decisions.

I think about all of the paradigms I wish to adopt. The paradigm of giving and receiving. The paradigm of love and understanding. The paradigm of accepting your lack of control over certain externalities. The paradigm of abundance. Accepting life as it is, accepting death. The state of liberation, freedom, and an embracing of the absurdity. etc etc.

I imagine the type of person I would become in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, and ultimately my life If I dissolved all of my fears and embraced these paradigms and lived these paradigms.

To become the type of person that is never resentful, is never expressing hatred, is never bitter, never takes things personally. To e the type of person that accepts full responsibility over the outcomes in ones life and to never cast blame on anyone but oneself.

These are what I meditate on daily. It has greatly moved me in the right direction to becoming the living embodiment of these paradigms.

At least 30 minutes per day.

2] Read

Read anything. Anything at all. And talk about it with others. So that you may internalize the material you read. This is what I must do everyday and have begun to make it a habit.

I will read anything from Dante's inferno, to philosophy books on love and sex, to finance books, to self help books, to psychological texts, and neuroscience literature. Literally anything. I have ONE RULE when I read. I MUST finish the book that I pick up.

It is one thing to read the books. But a completely different thing to talk about the material with there people, so as to internalize the material. I try to incorporate what I read in conversations that I have with other people, girls that I approach etc.

It is a good way to actually put into practice what you read, and it is good conversation filler.

3] Gym

I go to the gym everyday.

Every. Single. Day.

I know that you are suppose to have rest days, which I take, but I still go to the gym on my rest days to stretch and get a bit of cardio or abs in. I want to be healthy. In the best shape of my life. I will not settle for half assed gym routine. It has to become an everyday routine.

Run a bunch per week, Lift a bunch per week, stretch a bunch per week, mix martial arts a couple of times.

It is a great way to get off your fvcking a$$ and do something productive.

4] Game

I do at least 1 approach per day. This has changed my life in ways I cannot describe.

Force yourself to do one approach per day.

This is will change your fvcking life. Completely alter the way you interact with women. and transform your dating life forever.

What how 1 approach turns into 5, and then into 50, and then into you fvcking a 10/10

Your social life will sky rocket. you will learn things about yourself that no amount of anything other form of activity will reveal.

It is the greatest way to reveal all your weaknesses.

Don't even do it for the woman. Do it for yourself. S3x is just a by product. The self development is the aim and the end.

5] Repeat

None of this sh!t matters unless you repeat it daily for years and years.

Excellence is habit. Excellence is habit. Excellence is habit.

I will be using this thread as a way to keep track of my daily completion of each of these activities. You can do the same if you have daily activities that you think are as important as these ones.

I love how everyone says "I will be using this thread as a way to document daily activity" then you don't hear another fvckin thing from them ever again on the thread ;)

according to thread title, so you dont have job?
I do, I work 3 days per week. But I find the time to do all these things every day anyways. I force myself to.

I am going back to university for a PhD next September, so the job I have right now is not moving me towards my academic pursuits or my dream of becoming a professor.

OP your post is great and has interesting and useful tips.

BTW, I have studied Dante's Divine Comedy for years and its canti are not anything like Sports Illustrated. I wonder how you approach these readings because they're so full of references of any kind that it takes time to deeply understand just portions of it (terzine I'm talking about).

I really, really like that you have set up some daily goals for you to achieve. My own daily list would look a little different than yours, but that scarcely matters. I'm curious as to how you define an approach though? Is it just saying "hi" to some girl? Chatting a girl up? Trying to get a number?

I am reading it with a secondary source to explain all of the references. But I am fairly aquatinted with history and have a decent context for the reading. I am by no means even close to comprehending the depth of such a text however. I am fully aware of its subtlety and this is why I am dedicated to reading it several times with multiple secondary sources to get a grasp on it. Not an academic grasp like yourself however.

Could you recommend any secondary sources?

what does your daily routine look like?

I define approach as going up to a girl that I find attractive, initiating some form of conversation in a MAN TO WOMAN dynamic - so I must seep some form of intent into the conversation (Meaning I must let her know that I am intrigued by her and want to possibly go for a date). I also no matter must ask for her number, or contact information.

I do not consider "hi" or whatever an approach > I would consider that maybe as merely warm up to my approaches. if I counted those as approaches I would be doing 20-30 per day.

So I only count approaches with man to women intent, AND asking for number as an approach.

for instance I know that in canto IV there are references to famous philosophers such as Aristotle, socrates, plato, Anaxagoras, Democritus, and other famous people of antiquity like Hippocrates, I know that Homer is depicted as the master of the poets who comes toward Dante and Virgil with the sword etc etc various world leaders like Caesar

But the subtlety is most definitely present. In canto V I did not realize how subtle the speech of Francesca was until I read the secondary source.

Not like it should, I'll just say that :) There are things I need to be getting done that I am not getting done. So I was thinking of putting together a list of dailly goals similar to your own, in fact I've been thinking about it for awhile. I kept lists like this when I was younger.

To stay motivated think of ways you can talk about what you're learning and applying in your life with friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, etc. that you interact with on a daily basis.

For example:

If it's meditation, talk to people that are new or veterans to meditation and see how their experiences have been.

If it's the gym, talk to the bros about health/wellness, lifting techniques (I.e. reps, sets, type of training style, etc.).

If it's reading Dante, talk to people about your recent chapters you've read with them (maybe not in the cold approaches, but for later like comfort phase in quality time).

All the above is to say it will help you keep you motivated to applying meditation, gym, and reading in your daily life.

For spring until the present, I had similar goals like you @narcissist, except I wasn't approaching like a Godzilla in set. Kudos there.

Talking about the guitar, following talented musicians on social media, seeing them live in person in concert or free guitar clinics with Q&A, interacting with them helps me stay motivated to keep picking up the guitar when I get home from work no matter how tired I am.

Gym has been tricky working with time, motivation, and injuries in terms of availability.

Finally, use these spaces as creative playgrounds to access the inner curiousity of the soul. In that process you will think of creative ways to approaching doing what you love for life whether or not a woman is in the picture to aid you in your years yet to come.

Awesome post! Thank you.

I will keep all this in mind. ;)

P.S. I always wanted to pick up the guitar. I have one, but I know its at least 6 months before it starts getting fun lol.

I woke up early today.

I woke up at 8 and went to the gym with my main plate. She is fvcking awesome.

We did 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of shoulders and back weights.

We came home, took a shower together, made a healthy breakfast and then fvcked ;)

Great way to start the day off if I do say so myself!

I will be getting up tomorrow at 7 and going to the gym.

My goal is to go to the gym in the early early morning. Every. Single. Day. To get the day started off right.

She will be joining me again on Thursday morning.

The plan for today is to read for an hour right now.

Then go down to the library for a personal study session.

I will be going to the campus library so I can also do 1 hour of game.

I want to meditate down there as well, after I do the game.

Then I will come home. Meditate. Read some more.

And look at university options for my PhD.

The Divine Comedy 'cantiche' (which means Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso) all share the more or less the same structure. Some canti are dedicated to certain topics; for example Canto VI of all three of them is always the 'political canto' in which Dante deals with political personalities and problems, etc etc.

The Comedy is full of historical characters - even some of Dante's contemporaries. It's a vast work that is really difficult to talk about it generically.
