Staying connected and getting big on social media makes it so much easier in today's world.

About a year ago I broke from the path of being a hermit and started reconnecting with all of my friends through social media. I had about 600 friends on Facebook but I aggressive reconnected to where I now have about 1k friends on it, all people I have met at some time in the past.

Facebook is mostly old now but if you are friends with the right people so many good parties full of high quality events get broadcasted on there and you can get invited to them as well.

Then I started building my brand on Instagram a little over a year ago, connected it with my Facebook, and I had a little over 600 followers which is short of the magic number of 1k.

But it has made it all easier and for the guys who get it right, the options are endless.

I will admit, a hot guy could potentially get by without social media but an equally hot guy utilizing social media will have so many more options.

In fact, if you're not handsome, I would recommend truly putting effort into social media.

A good IG account, not one full of fake followers and bot accounts (hot girls can easily tell) where you have a ton of followers but every pic only gets like 10 likes, is social proof in today's world.

Pics of you doing cool stuff, a ton of people following you, and those same people liking your pics signals the following things to a girl:

1. This guy is popular

2. This guy has high status

3. This guy is cool

Even the older guys I know that clean up are more like Dan Bilzerian and a lot less like whiny grandpa who is out of touch.

If you're not on social media and not building your brand on there, get ready to be left behind.

Not with you on this at all. And 1k followers in the world of social media aint chit. Im not an online attention wh0re. I could give a fuk less trying to show off my "cool stuff" and my friends an blablabla.

Only social media thats needed is snapchat really. If ur just jumping on fb an ig now, you missed the boat homie. And honestly im not into all that attention wh0ring and trying to be a male kardashian.

I like my personal brand to be in the real world, my aura is my brand. My character is my brand. How i conduct myself is my brand. Posting some filtered pic of a martini in a lounge somewhere or a short vid clip looking jacked in the gym, is just not my style. I think that chit is lame. As far as fb...hah.

I dont think not being on social media will leave u behind. In fact i foresee a backlash as peolle realize the fakeness of it all. Social media peaked with myspace. Its just been lame ever since.

People really take the whole "mystery" thing out of context, there is no "mystery" behind being some friendless loser that is out of touch with most people his age, that is just a loser and nothing more. The "mystery" thing only works if you live an interesting life and there are parts of it left out that she doesn't see at all.

Maybe a trust fund guy with god tier looks can avoid my advice but even he is big on social media.
