So I started an internship 4 weeks ago and I noticed this HB8.5 showed up in the office next to mine.

I want to chat her up but at work it's not easy, I was hoping for an opportunity if we arrived at the same time or something.

Where I work is an open space office and from my desk I can see the door to the office she works in and I noticed her looking over multiple times while leaving/entering the room.

Maybe some of you have tricks to increase the chances of bumping into each other. I know her name because of screens that show new employees so i could add her on Facebook, but that would appear neady AF....

Do NOT add her on Facebook unless she's the one who adds you. It will be weird as she doesn't know you yet.

Just bide your time, don't try to make some type of interaction happen as it will likely look forced. Chances are you'll have some type of office wide meeting soon, just try and sit next to her and chat her up.

Of course, you could always walk into her office, introduce yourself, ask what her name is, what her job/title is, and if she has any advice for interns like yourself. That's probably your best bet right now.

This, and slowly flirt by keeping eye contact and smiling. See if she does it back and invité her over to have lunch together at Work or for a walk. Personally I dont sheit where I eat. Work is for Bread, finance keep that apart from romance.

@Building_and_Loan That would be weird because unless I have something to do in their office there is absolutely no reason to go there.

@TheGambino that doesn't really apply to me because I am only there for 4 months.

The best scenario would be to arrive at the same time in the morning because the walk from the parking lot to the office is rather long and would give an opportunity to brake the ice

Its a marathon, not a sprint.

Be cool and when the moment arrives, strike up a laid back convo with her and see if she shows interest.

You think she's cute and you want to meet her and find out what she does. Ask her about the company. That's your reason. You don't have to have any other excuse than that. Just grow some balls and take action. That will make a much better impression on her than staking out the parking lot for 20 minutes waiting for her car to pull in and trying to time it perfectly so that you two walk in together while she's busy checking her phone anyway.

Trust me man, it won't be that bad. What's the worst that could happen?
