i wouldn't respond.

a girl who wanted to go out with you/get to know you more/etc. wouldn't make that comment with a hard stop.

she would agree and then order non alcoholic .. or suggest coffee or something.

Right to a degree. But theres actually women out there who DONT drink...

I would turn it into a joke..like "oh so you prefer intravenous fluids for hydration?" just something cheeky/corny. Flip it on her and tell her a NON ALCOHOLIC drink...like tea. If she is still giving you excuses after that then drop her.

Some people actually don't drink. I'm one of them (you're thinking about my age: I could get crack, meth, and heroin if I really wanted to, alcohol wouldn't be a problem). Just do something else. Like pizza or something. "OMG GUYS! She doesn't drink what should I do???" "NEXT".

Or offer something else. Don't be such a lame dude where you have to try on alcohol to 'take the edge off', that's pvssy sh!t right there. You gotta learn to get drunk off life. That way everything you do is fun.
