So, the amount of attention girls get on facebook/instagram is unreal, especially if they are attractive.

You're up against a legion of guys all trying to create this illusion of some fantastic life through their social media profiles, followed by liking and commenting on these girl's photos trying to break through.

Yes, they are probably in the orbiter zone, but it is possible that they will be able to break through eventually.

It's all one big p1ssing contest to see who can create the biggest illusion of having a great life. This is why I was against making a facebook/instagram in the first place, but caved eventually due to social pressures (girls asking why I don't have one...).

I'm starting to think that any girl who is a heavy social media user should automatically be demoted to plate status, do you guys agree?

There's no need to let it bother you. Understand two things about this social media nonsense....

-Girls don't care if a guy gives them attention on social media. As you say, it's primarily a competition between females bubbling under the surface, that you don't need to and shouldn't concern yourself with (other than being some broad's arm candy).
-The ONLY use that social media has for men, is social connection and professional networking. Any guy who needs frequent 'publicity' of promotion on social media isn't quite as successful or talented as he's making out. The success and talent, romantic or otherwise of a genuinely valuable guy speaks for itself.

I know a couple of guys on FB who regularly go on business trips in Europe and they regularly tag themselves at such and such an airport, blablabla. They like, 'Oh work life is so hard, it' not as glamorous as it seems, rahrahrah'. They get hardly any reaction, and you know everyone else is thinking, 'shut the fck up', just like you are. I'd quite happily get paid to sit drinking beer in business class lounge.

All you need to do is get women sharing pictures of you with them, looking like you're having the time of your lives, and others will soon start coming out the woodwork.

It really is an interesting phenomenon... I see young guys at work that think they have a life based on who they follow and interactions on Instagram.

What's shocking is the face people make when you ask them : "what's new in your life"

They reply: "you havent seen it on facebook"

And you go: "no i dont check news on facebook, I prefer them in person"

They face go shock... like facebook is the way to communicate

Than again i must not be an important person in their live but it doesnt bother.

Social média has given an ego-driven attitude to everyone...it's always "look at me and how great"

Yet, if you asked any of your 5000 fb friends to help you move... how many would do so

People compet for attention on socialmedia.. women compet for attention like they buy makeup to compet against each other to get the mâle attentioné

Alot of space is used to promote: What you eat, where you hang out, with whom etc...

Social Media is well used when you use it to build social value: promote your team, your friend, your connections, your involvement... so many "your".. In short: success about event which make other people look good

As i get busier in my dating/business/study/social life... I dont go on facebook anymore... the only post i do are in a journal fashion (stuff i wanna remember and people i wanna thanks)

I pass more time here than fb.

If people ask me why i aint reading their life on social media:... i'll tell them: i prefer the inperson version

Social média as nothing social about it really. However, it remains à powerful image tool and communication system with people so far way (countries ahead)

Talking on the phone should become a social goal now :p... I am Glad my work force me to talk on the phone and I use it to keep touch

but what worries me is how loosely he uses the N word when talking to his friends
Well, likewise, it's funny you say this.... I know of another couple of guys, very successful in sales and business development, who will openly cuss when promoting work on social media. Like one guy is actually f-ing and blinding in one of his videos. And in turn, I'm like, 'what the fck'?! One of them just bought a Porsche Cayman S yesterday though, so maybe they know something I don't

I have never been on Instagram except to see photos of girls who send them to me. It's a bunch of illiterate rednecks mostly.

But this is why my photography hobby has been successful - women get to brag and show off their photos. Because they are getting paid (pay them the smallest amount that excites them), you easily get them to chase you (they will blow up your phone almost overnight), which subconsciously tells them they like you. Then you get to be a control freak and control what they text, what they wear, how their hair is styled and their makeup. Then when they show up (always exactly on time) you control their poses, etc. and spend time with them, and have drinks and dinner. Throw in the fact you only choose women who show signs of high interest to begin with, it's not too hard to see how they can be easily seduced at that point. If it's not feeling right for you? You flake because you have four other models lined up and since you're paying them what they are worth it's always a wash. If they flake? You'll be happy that you'll save time and money. God knows young, hot women control the dating market. The money you spend basically swings the pendulum back in your favor.

The problem is not the guys who spam her selfies with "Omg!!! You're so hot . Wow! I love your smile." It's the stuff you don't see behind the scenes. Like guys asking your main plate out on dates when you're limiting her to 1-2x dates a week. In theory, that's fine if you're spinning plates, but if you're exclusive and she pulls dates with other guys for a "friendly" catch up lunch or a round of frisbee golf, you could be in trouble. Especially, if he's an experienced guy and knows how to use sexual tension to escape the friend zone.

In any case, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter are important screening tools for the Don Juan to screen out plates that post 1,000,000 selfies.

Another thing to watch out for is if they're high maintenance women posting pictures from expensive restaurants serving expensive french food and expensive drinks.

My last main plate was obsessed with her dog. She treated him like a kid since she had no kids. So she was constantly posting pics of her dog. o_O

Compliments are like precious metals; best when pure, used sparingly and refined in to unique, timeless pieces of art.

If your 'exclusive' girlfriend is led astray like this, then she a) wasn't that in to you, b) does not deserve (continued) exclusivity (or never did).

The one benefit of using social media is screening. You can basically read someone's character like an open book from what they post online.

True. Sadly the dumb thirsty guys don't think about their attention as value, lol.

Both A and B. We weren't 100% but close to it. Then she went on a blitzkrieg attack for orbiters. I jumped ship. :p

I think the massive flood of attention from thirsty dudes tapers off after they hit post wall. Unless they watch their diets like hawks and are obsessed with yoga, pilates, cross fit, or whatever fitness craze that keeps them skinny skinny.

Also, there's so many makeup tutorials on YouTube, so they can probably hide blemishes with their smart phone photo editors or photoshop out imperfections to look "perfect" on Insta.

I imagine... they probably dismiss AFC attention or not entertain date ideas unless it's from a guy they deem high SMV, suit or ripped body and Game that hits all her right emotional and attraction triggers to get her to invest further.

Its sad the amount of chicks I have unfriended on FB and unfollowed on Instagram because of their attention wh0ring ways.

Totally pathetic. Its always the same chicks. They are either super self conscious and seeking attention and validation for their daily selfies or playing the "poor poor pitiful me" card.

One click of the mouse takes them out of my realm.

The main problem is that it somewhat decreases the trust factor with women...if you go exclusive with a girl, what do you know, she could have your replacement lined up in her instagram dm's right now...

It just makes monkey branching so simple that any girl that is a heavy social media user is automatically suspicious to me. Perhaps I'm being overly paranoid, I don't know.

Here go the 2009ers.

Social media is now a solidified part of human communication. It is not a fad or a trend and it is not going anywhere anytime soon. If you frown upon social media use, you are going to have a hard time finding a date. Looking for a woman who doesn't use social media is like looking for a woman who doesn't have a smartphone.

That leaves you with two options:

1. Continue to ignore reality and pretend you're a better person because you don't use social media.

2. Learn to take advantage of the benefits social media can offer ie. social proof, ease of screening, access to women.

Every human is seeking validation. What difference does it make if it's in the real world or online. You cannot ignore reality because you don't like it. Social media is a thing and yes you are going to look weird if you don't use it. Just like you will look weird if you pull out a motorola razor to take down a number.

Get over yourselves.

Well, men have no one but themselves to blame. Stop paying women so much attention.

I'll keep social media for screening and networking.

However... I will not add to the validation game tho by liking and by being thirsty at every selfie she posts ;)

This is exactly why I don't f*ck with social media. Its all about getting likes and validation.

One of the attention wh0re women I'm Facebook friends with used to post something literally every day or several times a day. The usual "look at me!" crap with travel, food and friend pics. One time she posted something and got literally no response. No likes and no comments. Later she removed the post. It was hilarious.

Social media is for women. Its just a giant water cooler and orbiter management system for showing off. In the good old days women actually had to hang out with their orbiters to keep them around. Now they just FRIEND you on Facebook and your stupid ass gives them free attention through likes and comments. The whole world can see how many desperate orbiters a woman has without her having to do jack sh*t other than post new stuff every day.

Not paranoid at all. I’m also very cautious of these type of girls.
The gut feeling and spidey senses never makes you do a double take. I just had to demote a chick from prospect LTR to strictly untrustworthy plate material due to her excessive social media consumption.
Changing profile pictures every 2-3 days type of thing. you can tell from a mile away that she had a crippled self esteem. Really unfortunate. She was cool and all but there some things you can’t take back.
these types just shoot themselves in the foot by seeking attention validation fixes.

Bro my ex was ADDICTED to social media.

Literally on everything, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Tik Tok & Several group chats.

You can never fully trust these girls, they always have a bunch of guys tucked away..

The worst part is, they are exposed to dudes minute by minute, who are taller than you, better looking than you, more status than you. Yup they are much more likely to monkey branch.

Try getting one of these attention hoes to put there phone down for a moment? It's like asking a crack head to put the crack pipe down.

From my experience, I will NEVER date a social media addict ever again.
