I'm 31. There is a girl at work I was flirting with. She'll be 22 next month. I was joking around saying I'd like to see what she looks like when she gets angry (since she never seems to look angry or frustrated) and when was the last time she got in a fight to see what she'd say. She laughed and asked me when the last time I got in a fight was.
I told her it's been years. She quickly told me that I didn't look intimidating and that I was like a teddy bear. I was kind of thrown off by it. I am not a small man at all. I'm 6'3 and around 260-70lbs. I could definitely stand to lose weight, but I think her comment must be referring more to my personality than my size. I'm normally a more reserved person. I'm more laid back and not very outgoing. Could that in and of itself be reason for her saying this?
I don't give women compliments and I don't feel I supplicate to them. I'm not sure what it is about me that I have been called this before. Perhaps a combination of both me being a big person but also not acting like a jerk? Could it be just being a heavier guy? Just drives me crazy. Sorry for the rant.
