She's probably in the top 10 worst GFs in the history of this site
I don't understand this Randall guy. She had a history of dating bad boys and those relationships ended tumultuously. Judging by her being a drama-magnet, I'm sure she lathered herself up in the drama. She enjoyed it. On the surface, she hated it, but internally, she loved it because she loves drama/attention. It's all she knows. Does Randall think that she's going to go through a dozen guys like that and then find her knight in shining armor (Randall) and ride off into the sunset? Hell no. This relationship will turn to sh!t. I'm sure there already have been some big indicators of that.

...and this is the basis to reward her with exclusivity? Beauty is common. You can find another good looking woman who isn't as fvcked up as this one. You'll have to give a better reason to reward her with a LTR status.

People come on here looking for answers. You can bytch and moan about how crappy your GF is anywhere. You get answers, but you continue to justify why this woman is worth your time, energy, and devotion regardless of how terrible she is. When she's 55 years old, she's no longer going to be sexy, unless you enjoy saggy tits, stretch marks, a droopy ass, and a vagina you can stir soup in. You'll be left with all her defects that no longer measure up to the definition of "sexy". When she's going through menopause, she won't be "charming" while she's getting hot flashes and growing facial hair.

The problem with women today is people like you who reward bottom-of-the-barrel garbage. Women won't get better if men like you don't raise your standards and demand a good woman for exclusivity.
Its one thing if she dated bad boys when she was younger but gradually grew out of that phase. But she was in love with a bad boy just a few WEEKS before she met Randall. She meets him and then 2 weeks later they're in a relationship? Extremely rushed and forced. She didnt learn her lesson, she just had captain save-a-ho come to her rescue. Clearly looks to me like two dysfunctional people quickly meeting and partnering because of a shared need to be in a relationship. Dysfunctional damsel in distress meets dysfunctional captain save-a-ho. It's no shock she went from bad boys who don't give a sh!t to a needy chump who she can manipulate. She'll never respect him. Oh yeah, and she consistently makes jabs at his looks because internally she's not satisfied with him. She disguises it as jokes, but it's clear as day that she's serious about these backhanded swipes at his looks.

She's not attracted to Randall. She's attracted to what he feeds her and what he feeds to her daughter. Sure, some women do marry their beta provider, but this girl doesn't even sound capable of achieving stability. Hell, she bashes his looks and he catches her Liking guys pics on social media, and re-adding guys from her past... my gut truly tells me that once she's done filling up on him, she will dump him and give him some lame excuse. I just can't see this escalating to marriage..

Can I ask what about my girlfriend triggers you so hard? Does she remind you of a girl from your past? She definitely has had some questionable behavior, but it seems to hit home for you

There's nothing that has triggered me about your GF. According to your first post, YOU came here asking questions:

What is this all about? Attention seeking? Wandering eyes? Monkey branching? But shes even readded former platonic friends, which is the head scratcher. What is this?
I am a firm believer that men shouldn't reward terrible women with exclusivity. It sends the message to the women that it's perfectly acceptable to treat men as a convenience that can be disrespected. When men and women get into a relationship, they should be on the same level of respect. He shouldn't entertain other women, she shouldn't entertain other men. They should BOTH take the relationship seriously. If one or both aren't being serious about their commitment to exclusivity, then WTF is the point of being exclusive?

If you refused to tolerate lousy behaviour from women you reward with exclusivity, then you wouldn't be here asking these questions. If that were my GF, she would have got the boot regardless of how attractive she is.

I suggest that you man up and propose.
I second this.

@randalljohnson: If you truly believe that we completely misunderstand the value of your GF, then why haven't you popped the question yet? If you can truly justify her contacting men that she's previously fvcked while she's in a relationship with you, then you should marry her. Reward her for that gorgeous ass and her total disregard for how you feel.

I understand your points. You mention her not being invested in the relationship by entertaining other men due to re-adding people from her past on social media-- but we've planned out a road trip to Miami next weekend (us and our friends.) Would a person who's not interested in me or the relationship do that? It's not a rhetorical question, I'm looking for an answer

Wow. Do you people agree with cityboy here?
lol, im pretty sure I've already said the same thing, just in a much nicer way.

You're languishing in a relationship where you feel her behavior disrespects you. You're clinging because her mouth said she wants stability and a nice boy, yet her actions actively create emotional distance between you.

I just had a conversation with a co worker about dating where he was telling me about his friend who has a controlling GF for a while. I asked why his friend stayed in the relationship so long and my co worker said

"....you know ..... when you have someone, and you arent happy, and you contemplate leaving, you realize if you leave you will have no one, and who wants to have no one? what if they never find anyone else?"

randaljohnson, you are that dude, the one who is staying out of fear

Her relationship with her next real BF probably won't be a good one either. Not only has she made poor choices in men in the past, but she sounds like a dysfunctional drama-magnet with a host of issues such as daddy issues, and likely some forms of personality disorder. She'll never get it right.
This I firmly believe. She will continue to repeat her patterns b/c theres 'nothing wrong with her'

I just want to take a minute to rant.....
Being single and looking to date THESE are the men I get to deal with.....OMFG! Someone on here once called me 'boring'. See how randall boy is fvcking mezmerized by a chick that treats him like a bung hole? I am boring, I dont mood swing, im stable and looking for someone normal....normal men dont exist....randalljohnsons exist....

Yes, you're at least paying for half her trip expenses by going with her. Are you paying for everything? The majority of expenses? You guys are probably driving your car. You will do half the work on the road trip (drive, etc) She's going to spread her legs every night to pay you back.

Dude, take it from someone who's been there and almost died from the stress caused by these types of women. Put your running shoes on and sprint the phuk outta that relationship. You're brainwashed, end of story. Thats ok, I was that same guy once. Ultimately you're going to do whatever you want, but know this, you are only making yourself look like a fool in her eyes.

Most of you know I made a post about this weeks ago. I've recently noticed that it's still continuing. Before people tell me to stop "stalking" her social media, I'm already aware of your advice, so no need to continue badgering me about that.

It's so strange. Over these last few months, my girlfriend has been re-adding a bunch of people from her past on FB. Some of them were strictly platonic friends (one is even a female), but she's also been re-adding former flames/FWB? Why? I just noticed this morning that she added ANOTHER former flame of hers from like a year or two ago. What is the point of this? What is the psychology?

Also may be worth mentioning that she followed an ex BF on IG a while back. Which seems convenient because (to her knowledge) I don't use IG. But I really do.

What is this all about? Attention seeking? Wandering eyes? Monkey branching? But shes even readded former platonic friends, which is the head scratcher. What is this?
You should add your girlfriend to your past and find a better woman.

Exactly dude. He thinks because she's still with him and because they go on trips, thats an indicator of how strong their relationship is, despite her questionable behavior and shadyness. This dude is just the white knight who looks good to her on paper and the TYPE of guy she THINKS she should be with, even though she's not very attracted to him which is evident by her backhanded swipes about his looks. He probably slobs over her and honestly he's probably the type of guy she would normally blow off but because she's in a man-hungry state, she enjoys it. For the time being.

Dysfunctional damsel in distress = her
Dysfunctional captain save-a-ho = him

In the not too distant future = ka-boom

This thread has 5 pages? The answer to this question is very clear. Dump her a ss and move along. No need to discuss anylonger.
