The term "unicorn" is really controversial on SS with many different visions of what is a unicorn.
I believe that I have spotted one really close to me, here is why I think she is unicorn:

- She comes from a solid household (Parents together and wealthy)

- She goes out rarely and doesn't like clubs

- She is mentally stable

- She will be finacially stable ( in her senior year of becoming a teacher)

- She takes care of herself and does sport

- I am almost certain she has low mileage (95% sure)

- She is pretty (not hot, this means prety even without makeup, HB9 to me)

- She is intelligent (which I find attractive in a woman)

Now here is the controversial part.
We were in the same primary scholl back when we were 10-11 (she is one year older than me) and ironically I had a crush on her back then.
After primary school our paths went appart and we started talking again about 2 years ago as we share friends.

Recently I have been trying to get her on a date but she always had excuses (had to revise, babysitting this week end...) she also added when she is done with her exams in july she will be available ( I know with the excuses i should forget it but hey she is passing her final exams I mean fair enough).
So for now i am NC and will wait a bit and probably comtact her about mid july and see what happens.

I am kind of insecure because I don't know how much effort I should invest because I do believe she is worth some effort, not sure how much though.

I think i might have already done to much by asking her out 3-4 times and texting her every now and then (maybe once a week maximum)

This forum might try to convince you to next her since you found one

My réd flag from your post : "she a teacher"

Teacher tends to be busy and seek control, and be intellectually unchallenged.

I remember à Teacher for a date once told
me: i was too intellectual for her

Second redflag: she seems to love be in her stuff.

3rd redflag: you wrote she could be unicorn.

Cola is right, forget her until July. I will add treat her normally like any chicks.

Report back your experience... I had my fair share of 10hb super scholar and business wise... but never could get them to be interested and I dont know why.. but all went for taller, skinnier, quiet dude

Could you explain your 2nd red flag please?

Why would it be a redflag that she could be unicorn ? Isn't that what we all want for a ltr or wife material?

I think there was a thread recently that had some favorable things to say about teachers. Still, it's always best not to let your expectations get ahead of you.

crap, just try to date her. If it doesn't work out move along. You will find out soon enough if she is a unicorn. Take colas advice. Don't worry about her till july.

I know the rush of emotions you get when you think you've spotted a unicorn, but try to control that, buddy. It can only lead to oneitis.

There is no unicorn, no one and no soulmate.

Anyone trying to sell that to you is manipulating you. Essentially in a oneitis, unicorn, soulmate situation, your mind is playing tricks on you.

The moment I start being attached to a woman or consider her the one, I start maintaining distance and try approaching other women.

Soon enough you'll notice her flaws and that she's really just another random beautiful girl.

''love be in her stuff'' aka just focusing on herself, her, her, her

Or also refering too ''I got an exam tomorrow I can't date, after that my gym, after that my social book, after that a brunch... no time for guys''
