If we are knowledgeable men of action then why do we ignore RED flags?

Is it because we pretend to be in control and not needy but deep down know that with all our knowledge of red flags, our gut feelings, our SS support system, talk of being men of action etc. that we need and crave that female validation even at the expense of ignoring destructive red flags?

Why do we go back for more abuse? Why do we seek out the same types of toxic women while avoiding sane women? Are toxic women what we feel we deserve while striving for improvement?
