Do any of you guys notice how many single moms are on dating sites? So, when I see a hottie with a kid, I should find out what her deal is.

I've been looking on the web and it seems like NO ONE has ever approached a girl with a kid in her shopping cart. Any of you guys ever try?

Seems to me like you're out there actively considering an opportunity to eat a crap sandwich to eat.

The land of improvement
Single mothers are looking for a man who is going to sponsor her child's growth. It's not what you're thinking.

Thanks guys,

Seems so cynical... but as with any new skill one is learning, it's super stupid to ignore the wisdom of experts.

Not one of you has ever had a good experience with a single mom?

I'm currently dating a single mum and have been for close on 3 years.
My experience has been good but I definitely think it's an exceptional situation.

She runs her own sucessful hairdressing business, very independent, from a good family and has huge respect for her father. No sh1t tests and no attempts to rattle my frame.

We've spoken a lot about male and female roles and we're on the same page about who should lead and who should support.
In her work she deals daily with women who blurt out all their problems and she's heard plenty of stories of women fvcking over good men.

The kid factor has taken a bit of time to work out, some may view it as negative as they take up a lot of her time, I view it as a positive because I like some space.
I have a son, she has a son and daughter, they all get on great, it's a positive for my son as the experience of having siblings is teaching him valuable lessons in dealing with others.
It's also a good thing for all of them to see a healthy adult relationship.

I wouldn't even consider dating a single mum if you don't have kids of your own though, for me it's taken a long time to feel a bond with hers and this would have been near impossible if I wasn't a parent already.

Due diligence required.

Some are single because their men were low quality. Some are single because THEY were low quality.

She's going to keep her worst traits hidden away, so first, you have to trick her into revealing them.

Best way to do this if you are pursuing her is to make her feel like she's trapped you. The "move in with me" stage is when you can tell. She'll pressure you into this a lot, drop hints or just unsubtelly require it before she spreads for you.

While yes, some girls will want you to invest in her before you get sex (common sense since you'll probably be gone after your post-nut-imprint and you come to your senses) these ones want an obedient father figure who will raise HER kids the way SHE wants you to.

I know this is over a month old, but I asked primarily to get opinions on the approach itself. I've actually only had a five opportunities since my original post. I've been running normal game, except:

I'm just a touch "nicer" than normal

I acknowledge the presence of the little one in the shopping cart or standing next to her, but don't pay much attention to the kid beyond that.

So far, I've only been getting standard polite rejections.

Edit: Hit Post Reply by accident halfway through writing.
