Is this normal? Girls posting pics with their mom "I cannot live without you" and things like that?

No, not overthinking, but I tend to wonder about extreme human behaviours in general and where they come from and if they can be considered cause for concern LOL

There's no way you can know until you start to get to know her but any person that is overly invested in their family, or a pet, to where you come in second, is not someone who is going to make you a true priority. If you want a partner you have to make that partner your priority and the relationship has to be between you and them. People whom are overly invested in other people (family or not) are going to use them as a sounding board, then you have a 3rd person in the relationship, and that is usually not a good situation.

The mom is irrelevant. Saying you "can't live without" someone or something is abnormal.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I'm seeing a pattern of jealousy issues coming from your posts.

Listen, the opposite of this behavior would be a girl who hates her parents. Believe me you don't want to deal with
someone who carries around a lot of built up resentment and anger.

People have different ways of expressing their love. What's important is that she has a healthy relationship with her
mother rather than a dysfunctional one.

No need for jealousy. My relationship with my mother is quite sound so I got no reason to be jealous about someone else's with their mother, was just wondering if all the extra love showings on social media, posts with mom here and there. I mean, does it seem healthy to you to say "I cannot live without you, don't know what I would do without you"?

Yes it seems healthy to me. She's expressing love and appreciation to her mother.

You're focusing too much on the actual words and not enough on the meaning behind them. Well, you are more interpreting the
meaning in a different way. In how it fits your perception and not how it fits their perception.

So what if she says "I cannot live without you". Should she not feel that she would be devastated should her mother die?? Why not?

Again, I just see appreciation being expressed.

A better question to ask may be: why as a man, are you even reading the bull****e that women post on social media.

The only thing that matters is that you get along with the family that she is really close to. If her parents or siblings don't like you and she's close to them, you don't stand a chance in hell of keeping her.

A GF's parents are a really odd subject to tackle. I don't think she needs to be extremely close to them (let alone her siblings), but I think it does matter that they are still together. Divorced parents fvck up a woman pretty badly. Also, I've met women who are totally fvcked up who have parents that treat them well.

LOL common, man. When I go on social media, there are posts in my homefeed, just like in everyone's. I don't usually stay and wonder why she said this or go hours thinking about it, but it is a common behaviour of these people and I am sure not everything is all rosy and beautiful as they portray it. Because if you loved your mother so much, you would be a nice person overall because I think for a female, having a good mother figure makes her or breaks her. But man, oh man, some of these girls are just horrible people, hypocritical and ****ed up overall.

......yet, here you are making threads about it.....

"if you loved your mother so much, you would be a nice person overall....."

Your logic seems a little warped and your thinking very black and white. I would take a stab and say your expectations for people are full of "shoulds and oughts".

It serves one better to view circumstances rather than to perceive things as good or bad.
