Hi, all.
Whether a girl is rebounding, has a void in her life, or whatever the case may be. Do you all feel that some girls just fake their love for these betas just to have companionship or to be able to say to the world, "Look how happy I am!"

I saw a girl share something on facebook. Some b.s. picture that said "Get a guy who hugs you, kisses you, and tells you how much he loves you. Goes out of his way to do anything for you. Doesn't make you jealous, but makes other girls jealous. Share if you agree." Just the typical b.s. quote you see on facebook, likely written by some teenage girl.

Girls who Share this stuff on facebook also might post a status like, "Me and my babe. Im so in love with him. We've been through thick and thin. I finally found the one for me." Meanwhile, the timebomb is ticking for when she's going to dump him. Once she's done getting her fix of that long-sought-after "companionship."

Am I the only one who thinks that girls who get with these "reliable" guys are likely just settling for whatever reason (rebound, void in their life, etc.) and will likely leave the guy at some point in the future? (likely in the somewhat near-future)

My personal belief is yes majority of the time, I also believe they can fall in love with the BETA more and more if the chemistry is right and they've been through a lot

I have a friend who posts GLOWING things about her husband on FB. How he is the sweetest, most thoughtful, most loving husband ev-ar!

For Valentine's day she got a balloon boquet, chocolates and four boquets of flowers left for her as a surprise in their kitchen. She posted and gushed on FB.

The same day, at work, she was bitching to me about how he CHOSE to work on vday, instead of taking her out, and how he always did that on holidays, and how he was selfish. I've also seen texts from him to her that we're destructively ugly and hurtful.

You can't trust anything posted on social media. People feel like they have to put up a front so their life can look as perfect as everyone else's life.

Well there's nothing wrong with saying and doing all of that stuff. Telling a girl what she wants to hear isn't bad and showing affection isn't bad either. It's just how you do it, how much you do it, and what you do when you're not doing it.

It's really all about frame. You can't be all on one side all of the time.

Yes, such hoes exist. But they are easy to spot, look for the following sign;

  • Any unstable behavioral patterns and lack of overall consistency (changes her profile picture too often, is happy one minute and rages the other, posts random BS from time to time)
  • Anger problems.

Girls fake their love for ANYONE if they fit in their agenda. No one cares about you, they care about what you can DO for them. Girls are no different. You are a part of their image, their sense of worth, their goals. Once they are done with you, they will move on.

That's why we say don't commit emotionally and don't things personally. One day they love you because you fit their goals. Next day they break up with you because you don't. Same girls who profess their love for you will leave the minute you need something from them that requires any type of work. On top of that they won't speak at your funeral.

Because Hollywood makes big bucks showing a fake ass utopian society in all their movies and tv shows. Romance novels, mainstream media, all of that simply promotes the pussification of men under the guise of 'being a good man' and whatnot. It has creeped into almost every echelon of society. And because this is now the 'norm', women THINK they are happy with some wuss offering her flowers and other bullsh!t. Remember, the only reason women convince themselves they like a guy they are with when they really don't, is because of the social repercussions for it. A woman cares more about what others think of her than anything else. That's why public shaming is a woman's biggest fear. She would get completely bashed and ostracized if she were to go for the truly strong dude she ACTUALLY finds attractive.

More nuanced guys. Plenty of men let the wife make 80% of the decisions round the house coz they don't care what colour the curtains are.

I actually buy into romance movies. I'm probably the only dude, and even on here, that is willing to admit to it. I have probably seen every romance movie that has a decent rating. The notebook has an awful rating so I never saw it.

I really do enjoy romance and flirting with a girl that I'm interested in. But the key difference is whether or not she's interested. All of those women let the man be romantic(lead) because she's into him. Guys think they can just do this type of stuff to any girl, you really cant and I'm not sure why you would put so much time and effort into a girl that isn't worth it. Frame always plays a major role.

The stuff the guys do in the movies is certainly not for your average joe. What Mr. Gray was doing to that girl in 50 Shades Of Gray is not what the average guy can do(I'm not talking about the dangling from the ceiling and being whipped) I would consider myself high maintenance and that's generally the theme of romance movies.

I agree with this, but don't you think another reason they pretend to love the chump they're with is; she's rebounding because she was humped and dumped by a bad boy who she actually WAS attracted to, so she rebounds with the "reliable beta" who fawns over her?

I don't believe a woman of today's market is capable of truly "loving" any guy.

Instead, they will LIKE you for the time being, based on what you can provide/do for her. You are very much an appliance and the moment she either gets tired of using you, wants a new brand, or wants a completely different appliance altogether, she will throw you out.

This is why women will date thugs/criminals from 16 - 27, then all of a sudden at 28 become very religious, and commit to the nerdy/good man. It's because she's at different stages in her life and the thug/criminal can't bring her what she "needs" (resources) as she gets older and begins to hit the wall.

So much truth in this. Especially those single moms with a kid(s) who suddenly become so cold, frigid, shut legs tight and are only looking for someone to raise and provide for their kids.

Even if the girl has a wild/damaged/slutty past? You think she would be able to fully commit to the boring, dorky beta provider...for the rest of her life? Even if she's a single mom who says she wants "stability"...that sounds like quite a task. I can see if she was in her 40's and is a washed up hack. But 28 is still youthful and still in your prime.

Of course everyone 'wishes' for cliche romances to come true, but the fact is that isn't what women are really into. It's okay to be wishy washy to a girl who deserves it, but you can't do it all the time. Just like you shouldn't never do it either, but the thing is men think being this way all the time is the way to attract them when it's clearly not the case.

Right lol. The chick has like 2 kids from 2 different thugs..... now she's like:

"Hmph...Tenacity I'm a born again Christian and I am not having sex until I'm married. So Tenacity can you handle that? A REAL man can handle it."

I mean the chick literally goes from Nikki Minaj to Yolanda Adams over fvcking night :rofl::cry:. Go on her Facebook and she is posting Bible Scriptures every 20 minutes, but if you scroll through her pictures and prior feed, just a couple MONTHS ago she was talking reckless/posting reckless lol.

A girl I knew through some friends who was keen on me for a while got married a couple years ago at age 22. She has 2 kids now, family is rich af and her husband works hard as a labourer. Before that, she rode the c0ck carousel like there was no tomorrow. Her friends told me this because I had no idea and honestly didn't expect it from her at all.. but that's where she's at in her life now.

Make of it what you want. I still don't really know what to make of it lol
