Did you notice the biggest double standard when it comes of chasing someone?

If a guy chase a girl who has no interest in him without getting the hints he get reproached from his friends and the girl's friends, he is told to stop cause he is becoming annoying and that he should move on and leave her alone

In the opposite case when its a girl to chase guy its the other way around both his friends and the girls friends shame him for being an assh0le or for not being a real man, he get asked if he is gay and so on..of course no one bothers to tell the girl to let it go and move on.

The guy gets even accused of being arrogant for considering her not good enough for him, it seems he is bad guy altought its him to withstand that annoying situation.

And this is getting worse day by day once those same fatties who reject other fatties are getting confident and c0cky and going for average to good looking guys.

Being an average guy starts to be a pain in the ass..it takes a load of work to catch hot ones while being the favourite target of these acclaimed "new hotties"

Hey, can't blame a fatty for wanting something better.

If a chunker believes they are the prize and confident enough to aim beyond their league, let them try. They'll fail of course.

I thought the idea was to work out, make lots of money doing....whatever, and then letting the nice beta girls come to you.

You shouldn't let anyone shame you. Seriously. How can you let someone shame you and not fire back at them? How can you let someone do that to you without you retaliating? They just openly insult you and you don't know what to say? Shame them the hell back! Who gives a fvck about double standards? The only double standard you have to worry about is not hitting a woman when they can hit you just because of the legal consequences because you can't really change the law. But if the consequences are only social, the stronger person wins. How can you let someone else have a stronger personality than you when you have help from websites such as these? Why would you LET yourself get shamed? I'm so sick of people talking about shaming like there's nothing you can do about it.

In general, the best response to an insult is no response or an amused look at best.

I've literally never known of a situation where a guy get's heat from anyone for clearly and politely declining the advances of a woman. Especially one who is obviously "beneath" him

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

I experienced what the OP describes with the SAME woman in my AFC past. Was nice and polite to her, but continued rejecting her advances. She wouldn't stop. This happened over a two year period, and to be honest perhaps I should have rejected her harshly just because it was so annoying, but I was too nice back then. Women like this don't take rejection well. Then I messed up on my own... was in a drought and went back to her in a period of desperation. Long story short, she made me think she was still into me, then rejected me and acted like she hadn't given me any signals of interest and I was a crazy harasser... Everyone we knew in common took her side. The more I tried to damage control, the worse it got. Even people who encouraged me to give her a chance in the past acted like I was the d-ck.

Just goes to show you what a bitter woman is capable of. Anyhow, it ended up being a valuable experience for me in that it taught me to never chase and never lower my standards, and perhaps more importantly, to not give a flying f-ck about anyone's opinion of me.

Agreed, I wasn't implying that OP doesn't have a valid point - only that it doesn't matter.

Never thought of this but it's true, I´ve been there. A few years ago, co-workers tried to set me up with a fat girl from work. I kind of wanted to give it a try as she is a good persona and has a pretty face but couldn´t bring myself to it. Co-workers couldn´t believe it, they said I was "poniendome mis moños" (kind of like being super picky or something). It´s happened other times too and every time I can´t bring myself to feel anything for fat, ugly or fugly girls.

Yeah, men are not allowed to have standards. Remember?

I'm probably in the minority here, but I enjoy it when women shame me. It means their ego is getting damaged and they are trying to take the power back. Its a good thing as long as they don't try to screw up your life over the ego damage.

But I get a kick out of sh*t testing women sometimes. Entertainment!

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

Modern Dating is setup for betas/afc's/orbiters. It's expected, that you behave in this manner.

We need a new model.
