so friday i was supposed to meet with an adult actress to get some feedback on a website we are doing for her. because of the nature of the event that took place i won't reveal her name. now, i mean, i have kids lol and i'm very protective about who i let in my house so meeting her here wasn't an option. also my team arkansas was playing so i didn't want to miss the game so i got a hotel room so i can setup my office there plus i wanted to watch my basketball in peace lol.

okay, so i get there, check in, watch the arkansas game, ,so i'm in a good mood. This is when **** gets serious. I hear someone outside and a faint knock so I open the door and she's staggering and i instantly can tell she's overdosing on something from my previous experience. she barely made it from the car to my hotel room

so i run to the bathroom and grab some cold water and toss it on her and it's' not helping. shes rEALLLLY oding. so I call 911.

she's going in and out of consciousness but i'm able to get a few words from her it was heroin. she kept saying help me. i was legit sccared for her.

so, 911 people get there and i mean, ****ing, INSTANTLY they put me against a wall and tell me to sit there and shut up.

now anyone wo k,nows me knows i'm extremely high strung so i'm like DUDE WHAT THE **** i called you here lol. they are like where is the rest of the herion and i'm like dude i don't ****ing know lol she just got here. so they are like why are you meeting her her for sex and i'm trying to explain to him that i run a website development business and i'm meeting her for work for her site and i'm trying tp ull my business card out my bakc pocket and this ***** cop literally pulls his gun on me.

at this spoint, i was able to think on my feet and i realized this **** was serious so i just sit there and got on my knees and put my hand behind my back. i'd rather be humliated and live then a proud dead man. at that point the onlty thing i said was lawyer. i'm not going to move or say anything else at this point.

eventually the cops started to realize they were looking like idiots. there were no drugs in the room. the room was in my name it wasn't her room,, just like i told them. and eventually she came to and asked why they were accusing me of anything i didn't do anything wrong and i saved her life. she confirmed she just got there.

***** ass cop didn't even apologize just said you can go. .

the girl is okay but i dropped her as a client i want nothing to do with clients who shoot up in th car before they meet with me .

i mean what the ****, like i was on the phone with the 911 people when they were there like i had the phone in my hand and its the first thing they thought let's jakc this black guy up because he's obviously the guy who drugged her

Some states have laws that protect the person who called 911 from being arrested for drug possession, when they call about an overdose.

These guys are dealing with situations day in and day out, they have what is called professional intuition. (yes profiling is part of that, race has nothing to do with it, more of the way you look and act) They have a certain place about black dude and an overr dose girl (you didn't tell us her race) at a hotel room. You have to realize that usually a call like this is something else - 9 out of 10 situations it is drug dealer, and 8 out of 10 it is hooker, and 1 out 1000 it is something else.

Can they handle situation differently? Sure why not.

When you call 911 though, you don't tell them heroin overdose. You say "please send in ambulance *address* quick, a woman is feeling sick, says she's gonna die". You never volunteer information. Then either you tell them the truth, or you play dumb, in your case, black guy doing web sites, well you better have your laptop out and something open, otherwise it sounds like bull ****. If I was in your shoes, I'd say she knocked on the door and collapsed on the ground when I opened, and my name is backbreaker, I'm a web developer, I'm waiting for a client here. I don't know who this girl is. **she points her finger at you, I'm your client. Oh ****, I didn't realize you was my client!

Sounds dumb!

But not as dumb as call from a hotel room by a black guy with a hot white girl which overdose on heroin! Now that's dumb. If she would have died, you would go to jail.

Now let's picture me calling 911, and let's just assume I told them the truth straight out. "Please send in ambulance, I'm met a client of mine, I'm a web developer, and she just collapsed, told me she did heroin and needs help." I'd leave the front door open. They'd come in, and just because I'm white, and look adequate (remember they don't deal with people like me every day) and because I talk properly, their professional intuition will paint them absolutely different picture. Those, they would still do a search.

You have to realize something important, you are black. Black people are involved in a high percent rate of crime. When cops look at you, they have their professional intuition telling bad things about yourself. There is nothing you can do about that to change it. Genetics of African men is such that there is more testosterone, aggression, and a smaller brain. These are evolutionary attributes, Africa did not have an ice age, men could just run up to the pray and stab it, unlike in Europe, where men had to think to device traps. Thus evolutionary the best attributes for African men was high testosterone, aggression, and because brain was not used differently, it developed differently. Blacks are responsible for majority of crime, this is what police has to do deal with the most. Lesser but equally important part of the equation is location. In two parts, city/neighborhood, and venue of the incident.

Hey man, sorry you had to go through that sh!t. And you're right, this is a great example of why you shouldn't trust a cop.

I'm also sorry that somebody decided to OK it by telling you that you have to get it through your "small brain" that you are just a high testosterone monster that cops are justifiably suspicious and scared of. Meanwhile it was the presumably White woman who ODd (which, unfortunately, is a HUGE problem in the White community now) and the White cop who was wrong.

This sounds retarded. Trust cops? Nobody is talking about trust, talk is about treatment.

*Pst, cops have more rights than regular citizens, they are on duty, doing a certain job. If you can't understand this much, you're hopelessly lost.

I would explain that situation to a lawyer and see what they can do. The least you can do is file a complaint. They take complaints very seriously.

Telling the operator that it was a heroin overdose at a hotel probably wasn't the best thing to say.

I'm a cop and I am the first to admit that some cops should not have the job. Most are good people and good at what they do but the bad ones ruin it for all of us. Generally speaking you are most likely to find more bad ones 1)in bigger cities 2) in departments they are unionized.

i mean **** she asked lol so i told her this was split second **** i mean i was sober as a whistle i don't drink around clients,,and yeah, i can kinda understand the ivsual of a girl convulsing on the hotel floor with a needle in her hand and me sitting there. that's why i didn't get overly upset when they first got there but dude oulling the gun on me and dude kept getting pissed becuase i wsa putting my hands behind my back. i'm like **** dude i'm nervious as ****. then dude hade me put my hnads on the police car in front of everyone. i just swallowed my pride and did it.

but the bitches better not think about calling my house for a donation

i m ean, there were NO drugs in the hotel not even on her she didn't have any drugs on her, she had just done them so i wasn't worried about a drug possession charge . we know each other she knows how anal i am about drug use and knows i was going to mmake her epty her purse / poket whens he got there which is probably why she id it in the car and probably "did enough to last" which probably is why she ODed. i knew she was on dope i' not dumb. but we had an understanding don't bring that **** especially that **** around me.

There could have been drugs in hotel and paraphernalia, it's a hotel, a lot of people stayed there, you don't know. Cops going there with that type of call know exactly what to expect. For sure they though they would find something in hotel.

They pulled a gun on you because you kept reaching in the back. Even if logicalleft (white I'm assuming) was there and kept reaching in the back, they'd pull a gun on him.

When you deal with cops, especially if you are black, you have to play good citizen, no smart ass moves like reaching around your back. Why were you reaching around your back? To get a card out and prove that you are a programmer? They don't need that information, they didn't ask you.

In the end of the day you done this to yourself when you said *heroin overdose*. This is a paramedic call, you should have had paramedics come in and handle it. Instead because you said *heroin overdose* cops came in. They heard on dispatch *heroin, female, hotel*, they come to the scene and see nervous black guy, reaching around his back. Things in their head start clicking, and they do their job. Their job is to get *heroin* off the streets... In a perfect case scenario you'd have paramedics handling the call, then later a cop would follow up with you.

Look at it from 3rd person perspective. As a citizen and neighbor wouldn't you want cops checking out the entire hotel room making sure there is no drugs? Would you want cops being safe on their call?

Could they have handled it differently? OF COURSE! But they didn't have to do it, since there was a black guy reaching around his back, for your safety and their safety they detained you. The way to make them handle things differently you have to act a certain way, even then, depending on situation (location/venue/time of day) there is no guarantees.

Another thing I don't understand, why meet your client in private? Why not a coffee shop? Why not your house or her house? Why not in the car? Why not in the park? Did you plan on banging her? It's none of our business if you planned on banging her, nor do we want to know, at least I don't. I'm trying to make a point here and I want you to understand it. You do not meet client in private, always a public place (your office is public place), and preferably with security camera. Why? Because you never know what to expect from them, you'd have 1000 which are good and no matter what you do 1 will always be bad.

You have no idea how much you could have ****ed up your life if she would have died or cops would have find drugs in hotel. Prison time son. Ask logicalleft.

Pst! I see no point in sissy talking you, how your poor black ass was harresed by police and how your feelings are hurt. I rather dump you into reality head first. It is much more useful, because this way you know what to expect and how to handle, the other way is for gays, don't trust cops, don't call cops, that doesn't work. Either your are with police or you going to the ground.

P.S.S. How could you know your client is over dosed on heroin? Either you done heroin with her, sold it to her, you both did it, or some implausible scenario out of ferry tale story like yours lol.

Yes, I am white.

I agree that reaching around to the back pocket wasn't the best of moves. For me as the cop it would have been unsnap and hand on my duty weapon, but I wouldn't have drawn it until I saw what was in the hand. Upon arrival there I would have placed myself in the room or better yet hallway so if there was danger like seeing a weapon I could exit stage left really fast. You always look at your surroundings and strategically place yourself in the safest location in every situation.

I also agree that meeting her in a public place would have been better.

If drugs would have been found at this incident I think backbreaker would have been safe if he had text messages to backup the facts that he could show police; she that she was coming to meet him for a business related thing. No texts and it could have gone south. It would have a lot to do with where they are found. Laying on the night stand? On her? They would have needed to be in plain view to be fair game for the police, or, they would have needed to have been found on someones' person which would mean said person was already arrested or put in the custody of the medical folks for hospital transport.

I swear on my first born that when I am on patrol I don't treat blacks any different than other races. Fortunately in the town I work in the ones I deal with all seem to be decent people. In a place like Chicago things are completely different.

I had that telemarketing job once...for about an hour. It's a scam. They impersonate the police and sell you a sticker for your car, which you are led to believe will get you out of tickets. I don't know if any of the money actually went to the police.

Mistreatment breeds distrust. Might sound retarded but it's the way of the world. Next time a cop complains about how citizens don't like him or her they should remember that little bit of retardation.

As for the second, meh.

So you rent a hotel room for a business meeting with a hooker...I mean "adult actress". Sounds legit...

Leaving that aside, how do you expect the cops to react? They find a girl who is OD'ing on heroin, who is probably dressed like a hooker, in a hotel room, with some random guy. In this scenario, what are the chances that the guy is NOT a pimp or a dope dealer? Maybe 0.01%? I mean, you have to look at the situation from the cops' perspective. The optics are not exactly favourable. How are they supposed to know that you fall within that 0.01%? And then you start freaking out, screaming at the cops. WTF were you thinking?? I'm surprised they didn't shoot or at minimum taze your ass.

i don't think it was so much that i'm a black guy. I carry myself pretty well. i'm more pissed that the cop didn't even try to listen to me or make sense of the situation. they weren't even listening to me. I told t hem as soon as it got there that it was my hotel room and i mean **** it's in my nae and at the end the guy was like well why are you coming to her hotel room that doesnt' make sense and i was l ike i never said it was her hotel room i specifically said it was my hotel room why the **** would my laptop wth my name on it be plugged in to her hotel room? like i had JUST got there like 15 mins earlier and had the receipt on the dresser with my name and signature on it for the room they didn't bother to look

i don''t think they are racist. i think they were idiots who came to the sense with their mind made up what happened.

if it were any other day i would have met her at starbucks. but i can't miss my march madness

A video just came out of one of Springfield, Illinois' finest in action. Why he acts this way when he knows he is being filmed is beyond me.

http://www.fox32chicago.com/news/local/242928811-story

No excuses for that at all. This guy should not be a cop. What was his beef with the guy, was it because he wouldn't take his hands out of his pockets?

Edit: I just found a longer one on Youtube:
.

The call was totally going fine until the kid was trying to tell the cop what to charge her with. Then made reference to "wanting the badges". Then the cop just LOST IT. People do that all the time, tell a cop what they think the disposition of the call should be. Talk about "If you don't do X I am going to call your Chief", blah bla. You just say "Well let me get to the bottom of this and see what happens".. The cop should have just let the guy vent. This wasn't even a difficult call really. The cop made it difficult. He royally fvcked up.

I agree. He sucks at fighting, too. The kid is worse, but the cop has never trained at all in open hand combat; I can tell. Look at the freeze frame for that youtube clip. Your arm should never be that far back when throwing a punch.
