I know for a fact that this website has helped me develop from a 14 yo jack ass to a 24 yo man. I been lurking this site for 10 yrs and don't regret it. If you develop experience it's easy to weed out the bull**** on the forum

After failing out of college at 18 I started lurking on this site heavily. Even being in an LTR, I would absorb everything I could. Shortly after, my first LTR dumped me and moved in with a 50+ yr old man that was feeding her pills and f****ng her. He was dog ugly and she was only 20 yrs old. It crushed what little self esteem I thought I had left. I even had sex with her after the fact, cause I was lonely, and caught chlymidia. This had nothing to do with what I learned on the forum, but a lot to do with not ID'ng the red flags and dumping her before this happened.

After that I realized I had a serious co-dependency on female companionship.
Maybe it was a result of not having a mother around. Whatever it was I was determined not to feel that way again. I begin doing what a majority of people on here want to do. I started having sex with multiple women with no strings attached. I started going out, approaching a lot, and taking chances. It was a fun few yrs that I would never take back. Do I understand women any better? Hell no.

2 years later I got sick of going out all the time and being broke so I worked all summer after my 21st and spent the money to go back to college. The program I chose was difficult (Chem eng.) so I knew I had to free up as much time so I could study. I took the maximum credit hours 3 semesters back to back. To maintain this I became a marijuana distributor for a local drug ring. I was able to generate the maximum amount of money and have all my free time still.

This wasn't selling dime bags to anybody and everybody. I was given a few clients that I made blind drops to every week as well as finding my own. It was lucrative. I was making $1000+
a week with very little risk, or so I thought.

August 2014 I will never forget. I was making a pick up from the supplier. He had me meet him an unfamiliar spot which set off an alarm in my head. To this day I wish I would have read the signs. After recieving the package (lb of weed) from a very nervous supplier I knew I was about to be swarmed. After leaving the complex I was pulled over and surrounded by 20+ K-9 units. I was f***ed.

After refusing to wear a wire for the police I was promptly charged with felony possession/distribution. They seized my car, bank account, and fined me heavily. I was carless, moneyless, and about to be homeless. The only thing I had to look forward to was the last upcoming fall semester that I paid for. It started the following weekend after getting bailed out of jail ironically.

I seriously considered getting a tuition refund to begin paying my legal expenses. After all, the government will suspend financial aid for drug offenses so how was I going to finish the last 2.5 yrs. you Thankfully I was hard headed and refused. It was the best decision I had ever made. It was a struggle, but me and my gf at the time made it work. I was homeless after asset forfeiture so I would stay at whoever house I could and would carpool whenever possible.

I kept my head up and never stopped waiting for my big break. It came in the form of my college advisor. I told her about my situation and she let me know that since I paid out of pocket while attending and my GPA was satisfactory that I could receive financial aid upon transfer to university. Finally a big break.

My GPA was still too low to get into the engineering college so I applied to the arts and sciences division with plans on transferrring into engineering. I got in, thanks to an awesome cover letter.

I still needed more money to pay my expenses so I started researching scholarships for people with same background as me. I found one that would cover a majority of my expenses and the rest I am taking out in loans currently.

Fast forward to today. I have 3 semesters left and I will have my bachelors in chemical engineering. I have an apt that is paid for, a full time summer internship approaching, and will be the first in my entire family to graduate college. Had I gave up and felt sorry for myself I would never be in such a position that I am in now.

As for women, I have my pick of the litter here. I still get taken advantage of from time to time, but as long as I keep things NSA being a 24 yo in college is great .

What I hope everyone can learn from my story is never give up, damn it! You have to take what you want from this world and refuse to listen to anyone that tells you you can't. This might not be a success story with women, but it feels like success to me. Go out there and take what you want fellas.

Life is about 10% what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it. Some people look at their situation and say they never will be any better than they are today. Others look at their situation and say they can be something great one day.

Both are right.

If you quit failure is 100% certain.

Never quit on yourself. Ever.

I tip my hat to you young man. You are already way ahead of your peers.

Good for you man. These are the stories I like to care. Who cares if it's not a woman success story. This site is about overall improvement. Plus, woman come and go until you find the right one. Keep improving.

Were you convicted of the felony? And if so, will you be able to get it off your record?

I left that out. I apoligize lol. Yes I did actually. That was the only time I have ever been in trouble so I got the diversion and completed the requirements (probation and fines). The case was dropped and the charge was expunged.

You are telling him he is wasting his time and money on college while you are working retail seasonally? And don't say you're some rich dude that just works at J crew for fun
I am bored, so what?

I am actually an actor and filmmaker. I'm taking the holidays off the recharge and want some extra cash. I am about to work on an anime project, three graphic novels, a film, and audition for some pilots next month. All without wasting money in college.

I did go for three years. Just wanted time and money.

And I value my life for the quality of it. Money comes after.
