I have a friend that I've known since HS. He was always kind of beta, but recently he's delved into the world of PUA and red pill (moreso PUA). For about a year, he started going to boot camps all across the USA and I think he actually met TD from RSD.

Anyways, now he thinks he's the master of the world and he's not afraid to try to constantly prove it to me. He's two years older than me, but I've been a sosuaver since the age of 16. There were times in the past where I tried to give him advice, but like a typical beta, he would always decide that it's better to be the nice guy. What a nice turnaround for him. Now instead of being a nice guy, he's suddenly this fake "a**hole" that I don't want to see anymore. It's as if, after ten years of secretly spiting me, he's trying to one-up me all of a sudden. Kids are weird these days.

My annoyance with him built up gradually. We would be out at a restaurant for drinks and food and he'd always try to AMOG me out of nowhere. I never did that to him when we were younger (not consciously at least). I would do casual sincere chatting with the waitress and then he would say something stupid like "I think my friend Bruno Mars wants your number" with a big grin. (BTW, Bruno Mars embarrasses me with all of his beta-as-hell music and antics - and I definitely look 100x better than him). I would tell him that what he's doing is disrespectful but he would try to hide under the guise that he's trying to "help me out." Then he'll go on about how I need to learn how to game girls.

Blank Face.

I don't even want to tell him what I know or share any bits of wisdom or knowledge I might have acquired within the past 14 years. He's just not worth it.

Anyways, he's sort of how I view most PUAs in this generation of PUAs. Women know about PUA now, and it's precisely because of guys like him. It's easy to tell when you're exerting an unusual amount of energy into trying to be someone you're not.

so? or you cut him out, or you open a new one on him.

thing you need to learn, don't expect much from people, I ahd people around who always tried to amog me or just annoy me with some nonsense, what I did was just make a hell of fun out of him in some cases the dudes just never talked with me again and I was still there being myself and having fun when he was all annoyed.

one time I ahd a comon friend tell me his friend don't liked me making fun out of him, know why I did make fun out of him? he tried to look good in front of his friends by doing that on me, it didn't worked as well as he though.

in your case I would just say, "don't worry about the bruno mars fan here, he just read some PUA book and is trying hard to apply it" ignore him and keep talking with the girl like it was nothing, or really crush him by calling him a fool to look funny just because he saw a girl

I'd avoid this fvcker. I had a "friend" like that in my late teens/early twenties. He totally sabotaged one really good relationship with the best gal I had , stepped in between me and another a year later. Then when I was engaged he tried it again. My fiancee got sh1tty with him (she couldn't stand him) and I sent his "friendship" packing. Pizzed, but gone. Guys like this won't quit until you stop them. He's just a d!ck.

Just tell the next girl, "he read a book where women are attracted to jerks, so now he's trying hard to be one"
Someone turning himself into an AMOGing a-hole may or may not get him some female attention, but it certainly is not going to make him into a good friend.

Exactly. There is absolutely no reason for a guy to do that to his buddy. Not everything is some PUA "stronger frame wins" piss-ing match lol.

Basically he's an insecure fvck trying to make himself feel better @ your expense.

No man needs a man with chick values in his life. Hang with better, or alone.
If you have to, switch "hunting grounds". Gaming with him along sounds about as annoying as sitting in a deer stand with a loudmouth squirrel chirping it azz off at you, alerting every living thing in the woods that you are there.

There was once this guy at a place where I used to work. A complete loner, probably a virgin in his 30s who wasted his life playing video games. A few months into his job, he started acting like a douche. Swagged around wearing leather jacket, talking like he's from the hood. He chatted just the cute girls, wanted to be in every clicks, wanted to be invited to every lunch, and AMOG-ing the guys.

I went out clubbing with him once. He didn't talk to a single girl. He just stood there staring at the gogo dancers all night.

Yeah...No.

This is what happens when someone is learning the PUA crap. Those PUA teachings can be golden when applied right, but when it's all wrong, oh man you get yourself an ego trainwreck.

I know how you feel. I've been in simular situations with friends.

If you continue to hang out with him, even if it is to just use him, it won't be beneficial for you. Even his face will pis you off when you look at him. Not to mention, he is probably going to ruin some chances with girls around you, like you said in your story. Keep in mind you will have a bad vibe about you when you are with him due to the fact you don't like him, and this might repel girls you want to talk to.

Friendships, like relationships, have an expiry date, and it looks like this one has reached it. Either cut him off completely or keep him at a distance. You don't need to be a **** to him and end things on bad terms, just hang out a lot less than you do, and communicate on occasion. It's ultimately up to you to do what you feel is right.
