I was raised in it, gave it up for years because I was just indifferent and thought I was bulletproof, then came back to it when I found out I was indeed going to die. I then went out and researched the truth and found out that Christianity made the most sense of any other worldview/religion. And by most accounts, the events actually happened. Plus I've seen the results in my own life.

Oh, and my research of evolution and other atheist type things has proven to me that line of thinking is completely bunk. Evolution is true, but WAY exaggerated.

Lot got drunk and had sex with his daughters, adulterers were stoned do death, a woman having her period couldn't sit on furniture (Leviticus). There are men with infertile wives who take their handmaids instead as well as sacrifice.
If you need a bible to teach you right from wrong you need morality not religion.
We are not designed for monogamy. We are designed for 4-5 yr relationships at best. We can overcome this with social conditioning but why should we?

I actually have met a girl that makes me feel like this a lot of the times. But still there are times that I might be "sexually" attracted to someone else. Again I find it hard to believe that there is a girl out there that would take away the innate desires of the male. That's why I think if you aren't going to cheat, you need to make a conscious choice not to. Life is what you make it. That is why it is important to keep an open mind and not fall into the status-quo. It is important to realize that your or anyone else's desire to fvck other women will never be eliminated due to being in a relationship with anyone in life. You will always have those impulses, it's biologically hardwired into the physiology of the male human species, and is a permanent fixture in our lives. What i meant by meeting a girl someday that makes you want to only be with her has nothing to do with that desire to fvck other women, what it will do is give you a sense of additional fulfillment and perks that enrich your "hopefully" already enriched life. As you realize this is a good deal you will naturally desire to keep it around and sacrifice for it when and if the time is needed.

In a nutcase...good women are out there and everyone is going to cross paths with one sooner or later and when it happens keep an open mind and you might learn something about yourself.

I think the basis of my question is whether it is natural for men to want to fornicate with different women from time to time, and thus is it still feasible or correct to have one life partner? And if it is... Should we just try and cheat diligently on the side so long that she doesn't find out?

For anyone that says to just have a open relationship, most girls of quality that you'd want to be in a long term relationship with aren't about this. Anyone that says otherwise is delusional or naive.

It's the quest itself that defines us as a man, where we counter-balance what we think we know with the instincts we have for morality and philosophy. I believe we are supposed to have several important people in our lives as we go through the changes in our lives. Very hard to stay in marriages that long where both individuals feel supported and fulfilling life's goals. I would be willing to bet you could ask every person in a relationship over 20 years and the people have things they wanted to do and will take these to the grave. They did not do these things because of life's excuses, which really revolves around the restrictions of an LTR.

I would say this applies to 90%+ of people in long term marriages...
