My kids mom/ex keeps accidently texting me almost every week. I think she's doing it on purpose. It's always a text meant for her boyfriend, who she has a son with. Today the text was "We just walked in the door. We are going to eat some breakfast. We love you." It's getting kind of annoying.

Do you guys think she is trying to make me jealous or feel bad? I look twenty times better then I did when we were together. I actually look the best I have ever looked in my entire life right now and she has even said it. She asked me to take her back last year and I said no. I made it clear I don't want her.

If you can't block her, just delete instantly and don't give it any head space.

I wish I could block her, but we have a kid. It just gets annoying cause I hear my phone go off, thinking that it's something important, and then I see that. I need to keep notifications on for work

I get not being able to block her. I'm in the same sitch.

As soon as you know it's not important, delete and forget.

Tell her a little about yourself, but not too much. Maintain some mystery. Give her something to think about and wonder about when she's at home.

If you guys text often she may go into the app and text without realizing. I also text my ex but I use regular text for that. Everyone else I use Whatsapp (she is blocked on Whatsapp).

You cold tell her that you have been receiving these unwarranted texts and that you would like to use email to discuss all child related business. If she sends a child related text respond by email till she adopts the practice.

That's got to be annoying. Tell her to stop. If she keeps doing it, show it to her boyfriend.

need to ask, what is the medium of the msgs? normal sms or whats app or something similar? I know you can silence the person on whatapp, so everything she sends will not notify you and you can delete later, possible others means also is possible, for SMS it will depend on your phone

This. It's so simple... why do we always think we need to employ some kind of covert tactic when dealing with women?

Tell her it's not acceptable and she needs to stop. Let her know you'd hate to have to discuss it with her boyfriend and that you're "sure" she can find a means to stop.

Right behind you
Call her out. "You do not accidentally text someone once a week. I know that you are trying to get me jealous. It isn't working. Only contact me regarding [your son] or leave me alone." Shouldn't it be this simple?
