Great point. Just because animals do it doesn't make it a good idea. Just take the incest idea. Animals will do this all day long. Should we be painted as bigots if we don't promote incest as a courageous and desirable activity? No, because incest groups don't have a large lobbying or media presence. Not yet, anyway. Apparently raising awareness about homosexuality in schools is comparable to molesting kids in a basement... great way to promote tolerance, let's shelter kids from these concepts as long as possible so they grow up to either live in the shadows out of fear, or become bigots like you. 10/10 plan. To teach about it in that it exists and is a mental illness, and the negative impact it has on society, might be ok, but really I think it's better to omit it.
