and what are the odds that such a life form would not have died out, or that we'll ever find them and why gas about it, in the first place? there aint enough problems on earth for you to worry about?

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

The odds of there being 0 life out there vs the odds of the universe teaming with life is about 50/50. Considering we continue to find out more about the world around us every day and there is already a solid plan and mathematical formula for warp drive on the table, a more advanced civilization has probably already achieved this. The odds of there being an advanced civ are 1/4. Considering we haven't even landed a couple of guys on another planet yet, it is impossible for us to speculate at their NOT being others out there. Since we are part of MANY forms of life on this planet in no particularly interesting region of space, it would be very narcissistic to think that we are somehow special. Seeing as other planets have been found in the goldilocks zone, its is very likely that there are others out there.

Why does this concern me? Well I would think that a group of space-faring civilizations has probably transcended our current society by 100s or even 1000's of years and might have the answer to the feminists/mangina virus that is plaguing our society.

Of they're real. You mean to tell me that in a galaxy that's a trillion miles across, human beings are the only things sentient beings in it? And even if human beings are the only forms of sentient life in the Milky Way Galaxy, there are infinite numbers of galaxies in the universe.

The proper, more profound, and pointed question to ask is has there ever been a first contact with extraterrestrials?
No.

Read this:
yes, we are alone in the universe. The moon has shielded us from all the asteroid hits that would have wiped out life (again and again) Some other heavenly body struck the earth, knocking out a piece of it to form the moon. it was the sheerest fluke that we got liquid water, necessary for life.
He is correct in the fact that the chances of all the necessary conditions needed for life happened here, is ridiculously rare. Scientists agree that the chances are as close to zero as possible. There is no way this Earth should exist.

Any reasonable human being must acknowledge that it is quite likely that we are a creation of an intelligent designer.

Me 2, works both ways. Backup your answers with facts.

Seeing as how 0 scientists have left the Earth, I would take their opinion with a grain of salt. I think intelligent design definitely has something to do with life in the universe but then what designed the designer? Very likely if it can happen here, it can happen anywhere.

That theory was dispelled ages ago.

There's literally zero evidence that aliens exist. No proof. No facts.

However the bible doesn't say we're the only planet with life on it. Not that I'm religious.

You tell me to take scientists' opinion with a grain of salt, then link a bunch of scientists' opinions? I don't even think a person can count to a billion, much less see a billion miles away and tell what's there.

There are two probabilities at play. One is that given the number of stars which could likely support an Earth like planet, there is a HIGH probability of some kind of life similar to ours out there.

At the same time, because these stars are so goddamn far apart, their is an equally HIGH probability that any two randomly existing life forms will NEVER come in contact with one another, given the limitations of space travel, and the speed of light constraint (nothing can travel faster than the speed of light according to current understandings of physics).

(Drake Equation)

So yeah, there probably IS life or even intelligent life, BUT neither they nor we will ever have PROOF of each other's existence.
