Hi all,

I'm 26 (turning 27 late June) and I'm seeking to start my programming, developer career. I am studying a Computer Science with Maths degree part time which I will complete at 29.

Realistically, I'll probably get my first job in 6-7 months time and that too only on £20k/$280000 as my first salary although with experience I can move onto higher paying jobs after as .NET/Java developer.

Who knows, once I get that first job, women may look at me differently.

I'm scared if women look down on my first salary and they do not trust my ambitions to move ahead in my career and earn good salaries 2-3 years after I start my career. I could be out competed with those men in well paid accounting and finance jobs.

The career I'm going into is quite well paid and I'm very ambitious to earn well.

Appreciate your comments

You have nothing to prove to anyone else, including women.

You have a job, you have a passion... passion is contagious... it excite the listener.... hence: you are good.

Stability is a turn on

Work on your health, anxiety approach and the girls will be yours

Girls hate the middle. If you aren't a lawyer, Doctor, surgeon, ceo, rich business owner, pilot, or fireman then a woman won't give two ****s about what you do.

Abundance is a state of mind. Women feed off your state of mind, not what actually is.

Bro I can tell by your post you're a bit self conscious and have some confidence issues. Is that fair to say?

Ok, because ^that^ will be by far your biggest problem with women. Doesn't matter if you're a student making $0 or $30k.

So the good news is, your concerns are nothing to worry about. The bad news is, you're worrying about them.

Stop worrying about things that could happen in situations that haven't happened, and just go how out and meet women. You will gain confidence. Everyone has to start somewhere. In the meantime chill, one step at a time.

I went from being a student to making 65k a year and it hasn't done **** yet. In addition, I got flaked on by a single mom with two serving jobs this weekend. She knew what job I had too haha.

If you don't have something, don't talk about it. Only show off your good parts.

A rich guy might be able to get women because he flaunts his wealth, but so what? That doesn't mean he's in a healthy relationship and that doesn't mean you have to be rich to get girls. If you present yourself well and have good game she's not gonna know and if you end up really clicking it shouldn't even matter to her.

Yea a lot of these girls are gold diggers but that's honestly their problem, not yours. That's her future BFs problem. You can play those girls however you want but how could you take them seriously? It's super easy to make a girl think you're rich, but the question you should be asking is how can she benefit your life? I like it when a girl shows me signs she's a gold digger because it means I can play her with no remorse.

There is no reason to discuss your salary with the women you are dating or banging, ever. Other than an accountant, for tax purposes, or a investment professional there is no reason to ever discuss your salary with others.

Remember, women are turned on by who you are being when they are with you and how that makes them feel. Focus on having fun together.

If a woman judges you by salary then she is a gold digger and you don't want her in your life anyways. I have a buddy that owns 4 subway restaurants and is doing quite well. When he meets women he tells them "he works at subway," to see who is the gold digger or who is actually interested in him.
