Sucks.
Men are much much more pleasant and easier to work with when in a job setting.
I've recently had to enter an office setting with mostly females doing inside sales as after excelling in the outside sales portion of our company and being stuck with these conniving power tripping ****s is almost unbearable.
I've been begging my boss to let me go out and hit the field again.
I got a few that openly flirt a lit with me but the majority are just moody ultra competitive and bossy peers......a constant stream of them trying to act like they are in management.
I don't have any inside sales experience and am completely new to the computer system they run and this us their foothold of power tripping me. Because I don't know their system yet nor their office procedures and I constantly get them trying to boss me around under the guise of helping me.
The actual office manager is rarely around and offers very little training.
One of my them who has been there three months longer than me told me to put something away for her the other day as she was casually looking at it...and I said no, put it away yourself, u ain't my manager.
I can't stand any woman trying to boss me around....unless it's higher level management...even then I would cringe... But I'm in a position where I'm completely new to the procedures and quite frankly out of my element and don't know what the hell I'm doing so I'm constantly put in a position where one of the ****y ones can attempt to power trip me and it be seen as somewhat socially acceptable.
The nicer ones act normal and don't use commands....just a sincere helping hand....very few of those, though. You really see women's true conniving natures when forced to work in a tight spaces environment with a lot of them at once.
I have to master thus portion of the business within the next several months and if so, will advance to a much higher commission level managing and training a team outside reps getting a large portion if their commission.
However just several days of being stuck amongst them has me counting my calendar.
Not to mention the ridiculous back stabbing of eachother and bickering that I have to be around each day.
