I'm not on anyone's side, but this is uncharted water in American politics. Trump represents a decline in the strength of the church - Mormons pray more and go to church more than anyone; they also hate Trump the most. Trump's supporters totally do not care that his wife and daughter both look like hookers. I find this very interesting from a political science perspective; it's a reflection of changing values in the country regarding sex. Utah is just a little behind the rest of the country.

I feel like the Amish are the best Christians. I don't know their take on immigration. I think they welcome everyone to join them, then work the hell out of that person until they want to leave. There is actually a large farm family near me who are devout Muslims. Other than still using modern machinery, they are basically like the Islamic Amish - a peaceful, pacifist, hardworking, independent farm community. They welcome a lot of summer visitors for farm help, mostly hippies, and they don't hide their religion, but they don't push it on anyone either, or hate anyone for having other beliefs.

It may work in a Utah primary for Cruz who was probably going to win there anyway, but 1. Those people who voted for Cruz will slide easily into the Trump camp when all is said and done, they won't be voting for the Cank. 2. If the Dems start in on Melania Trump in the same way, they aren't going to like what happens. The woman is smart, speaks several languages, from a middle class background, and presents with grace and polish. She seems like a very nice, somewhat reserved person, and picking at her will be a huge backfire. 3. It's one thing for Cruz to open the door on this, quite another for the LW to do it in light of the Hollywood left machine. If the Dems do this, even the normal hypocrisy Teflon the Democrats rely on from their dumb voting blocs will wear thin. I can see things like the hags on The View saying "Stop being so mean to Melania!" and contrasting vids featuring Democrat rapper lyrics in the campaign in my crystal ball. That woman "crying" onscreen after an attack ad would be like another Goldwater daisy ad, the end.

A couple of points about this:

- Ted Cruz stands no chance of beating Trump for the nomination.

- Hillary and the Democrats would be foolish to try and use Trump's wife as an attack, because Trump will go RIGHT BACK to Hillary's own husband getting a blow job in the White House. At least Trump's wife (whatever you want to say about her) hasn't done anything insane while occupying the White House.

- In terms of the religious situation, well, Democrats support gay marriage, so surely they aren't going to try and run on the religious foundation.

The thing that's very different with this election is that the traditional way of doing things has been thrown out of the window. There's no tolerance for political correctness, no tolerance for bought and paid for politicians, and people are looking to elect someone who can actually SOLVE the country's problems as everybody can clearly see that the US is headed off the damn cliff.

Quite frankly, people can care less about who Trump's wife or kids are. They are just looking for somebody who can come in, be tough, get the problems solved, and put the country on the right track.

The people protesting Trump are mainly the far left people who are trying to keep Trump out of the office so the country continues along the current progressive track, which is driving the country off the damn cliff. Their only argument is that Trump is a racist, which is so flat out fvcking stupid it's unbelievable.

I still believe though that the US is not going to be the super power it once was going forward, Trump isn't going to save this country, I'm sorry. This country is over run now by WAY too many idiots, WAY too many lazy, entitled, people who do not want to produce a god damn thing...they only want to demand somebody else's shyt.

Save your money and prepare to LEAVE the US in 20 years give or take, because the far left, stupid, entitled and lazy people are out-numbering everybody else in this country. The demographics have changed, America is NOT the great hard working, productive country that it used to be.

Right now it looks like Trump will win the most delegates, but not the majority. The RNC is free to give the nomination to Cruz in that event. They are actually allowed to nominate Mitt Romney in that event, as the rules are written, but they have said the nominee will be one of the candidates. Cruz and Kasich are going to hold out until the convention, then pitch the RNC to nominate them, because Trump didn't get a majority of delegates.

That's right. Because most of them are sheep, just like the rest of society. They don't understand that they are effectively handing the White House to Hillary because they can't see the forest for the trees. For some reason, many Christians think Jesus was this weak-minded sensitive white knight who allowed people to walk all over him. They couldn't be further from the truth.
